Any music for one reason or another gets you thinking about Bon Bon or one of its inhabitants?
Reason I ask is that a few weks a go i was listening to "Don't Leave Me" by Pink on the radio, nad it got me thinking about Randy and Violet. Since then I've managed to mentally coreagraph a music video that plays every time it comes on. Regrettably i suck at animation, so it will more than likely never see the light of day.
SO back to you though. ANy songs that bring you here? |

For me, I'm rather fond of Beethoven Virus from Ban-Ya to think of Bon Bon. I could imagine it playing in the background of a flash movie of Samuel at work on a mission as he sneaks/fights his way through security. |

I know it would be Copyrighted by the creators, I actually think the Anime Soundtrack Entirety of Ouran Host Club would be a perfect fit.
Here are also some songs for tender moments or dancing:
Claire De Lune (Claude Debussy)
Danse Bacchanale
Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity
Sorry... ^^; I know Classical music.
(Someone tried to make another thread just FYI, now off to bed.) |

Uhh Aaron... That'd be Classical ^_~. Sorry I know my classical/instrumental music quite well. I used to play the violin. |

Music here always makes me think of Bon Bon.
I was hoping to find an instrumental of this song, but no such luck.
It makes me think of the story, with Mary and Betty bound by their hopes and dreams, how their friendship still managed to remain even after their many years apart. Then Red comes in and creates so much conflict between them in the long run, and how much pain he would be putting them through. |

Sounds classy Miss Vanessa. Definately something that would be played during that era. |

Ah i love the violin, it blends into too so many genres very well. Once i get back in shape with the piano, and finish learning the guitar, i'll try and pick it up. |

Well, considering the age of the existence of the violin, it would definately be considered to use as the background music for alot of this era. |

I'm gonna try and resurrect this thread.
I wasn't around to contribute to this thread and there is no reason I should start a whole new thread when this one is already here.
OK, here's the deal. This song is not my all time favorite song, but when I heard it for the first time it reminded me of a really intimate memory from my past.
The second time I heard it I was reading one of the comics(issue#4 ,right before the love scene) and the song came up on Pandora. The combination of my personal memory , this song, and the comic left me really moved, now ever time I hear this song I get really emotional as well as making me think of these comics. (fuck anyone who thinks that's funny)
The song is called: "Fireflies" by Owl City
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwMsLWabU-Y
It came up on my playlist a few moments ago and my chest started to hurt, just to give you some idea how dear this song is to me. (so please don't make me regret sharing this special and personal detail of my real-life) |

My only question for you Texas is, how does 'Fireflies' even fit the feel of the Bon Bon world to you..? Im just curious because honestly to me it makes no sense and, I'm sorry but thats one of those songs I don't care about.
I'm not trying to sound rude at all. I mean I can probably grown onto liking it somewhat. but not like "oh mai gawd I love this!" IT IS catchy after all. |

It's ok, I know its confusing ; its difficult for me to explain why.
The song was special to me before i joined Bon Bon, then one day i just happened to be reading the comics and the song came on.
The song triggers an emotional response because of a memory recall and comics just happen to be caught up in the memory recall.
So now when the song plays it causes a memory recall of a personal experience and Bon Bon.
the purpose of the thread was to get people to post songs that happen to make them think about the comic series, . My song may not sound that great to others, but it just happens to make me think about the series. |

Especially dark horse for the obvious reason of lyrics, but a lot of classical music would fit the time period as well. |

to me it all depends on what character i'm thinking about.
william-party like a rock star
mary-holding out for a hero
betty&violet-lady marmalaude(or however you spell it )
simon-still fly
scarlett-judith
randy-pink panther theme song
and so forth
but thats just my personal opinion of it. now bonbon in general.......
i guess i would have to say carribou lou by Tech N9ne. just because it's a big party song for a big party town. |
