In oblivion there technicly was no lvl cap.

There probably was'nt, considering you could still get all the applicable skills to 99.

That's just it, once you got them to 100 you could commit enough crimes to get thrown in prison for a long time and if you get luck some of the skills that are lowered are main ones and you can then take them back up and it still works on leveling you up.

I'm only at level 30. As per favorite finishing moves; I have few faves. One is a stealth kill with a dagger, another is a shield bash/stab through the chest, and when slice an enemies knee, then slice there neck as a follow up hit.

What's everyone's prefered weapon&armor style?

I've always used light armor just so I could move more easily.

I mostly use light armor as well, thought I sometimes use heavy armor it depends on what I'm fighting. I'm current using Nightingale Armor, with an Ebony sword (Epic) with Frost Enchantment, a light Imperial shield (epic), and a Glass Bow of Diminishing with Steel, Dervian, Glass, and Ebony arrows.

I go all heavy, currently using daedric body, hands, and feet with the masque of Clavicus Vile, A daedric sword, ebony bow, and ancient nordic arrows (I like how they look) all my gear that can be improved is currently legendary.

Honestly, its not that hard. Blacksmithing is one of the easiest jobs to max out.

I know mine is 100 plus an extra 30% improvement bonus from gear, I meant that you get the skill to 100 to make the gear and it's ugly.

Too bad that they did'nt make an offensive restoration ability to add to its repetoire. Much like the Holy ability for the priests.

Personally I'm just using an Ebony bow right now til I find a better one, or at least get more daedra hearts to make that bow.

I was originally using a Glass Bow of Binding, but I got my hands on the nightingale Bow which has 20 Freezing damage, and 10 points of shock damage.
