What sports, hobbies, or pastimes would be popular in Bon Bon, or would even be accomodated by the town?
I could see Samuel being an avid fan of tennis, since it was quickly replacing croquet as the sport of choice in London during his young childhood. Would there be a court for tennis in Bon Bon? Perhaps even a croquet yard? |

Sex seems like it'd be a pretty popular pastime.
OK, obvious and lame joke over and done with. This is an interesting idea. I'm sure sex isn't the only thing BonBonians do all day long. |

Share the shame of incorrectitude, as golf did exist back then. The modern version of golf is cited as being started in Scotland in 1457. Also, in Illinois, the first 18-hole golf course in America was opened in 1892. Just 3 years before the time in which Bon Bon is set. |

Horse racing was popular in some Italian communities at the time, don't know how that would work in bon bon though. |

don't know about that, Another kind of sport event in Florence Italy was some sort of gang brawl, the only rule was too not hurt anybody too bad, it was still going on till about 2006, guess they ended it due to the injuries. |

A running marathon or a nature competition would be a good sport for BonBon, since the town is surrounded by trees and mountains.
It would also be nice to have the citizens of BonBon plays Badminton, as well. |

How bout cycling? You know, those old bikes with the massive front tire, and the little tiny back tire. The ones that seem ridiculous compared to modern bikes. There was also football. besides that, I wouldn't know. |

I think that skiing and hiking good be a good choice but I don't know how much snow end in Bon Bon. The landscpe we seen look like barren rock at the top and grrren land and forest at the bottom but we are maybe at the top of the summer.
Quelqu'un à vu une référence sur la saison dans la bande dessinée?

Constance likes to play croquet. I've put that in her profile, because I think it's a very suitable game to play for a lady of that time period. I did some reading up on it, to make sure that I wasn't picking something that hadn't been known at that time.
I'm actually finding it a bit funny, that even though Constance is a very athletic woman, the game I imagine her playing doesn't require much physical activity. It's probably because I mostly imagine her wearing dreses, and that doesn't give much opportunity for running around.
But the mention of tennis has made me wonder how she'd look in a tight tennis outfit with a very short skirt.
I can imagine it being something she'd like: A fashionable sport, getting to use that athletic body of hers, as well as little outfits that let her show off her strong legs. I think it might suit her to play tennis. |

Well Baseball or more aptly "Cricket" was the ball game of choice for the boys Polo,Swimming,Golf,Horse Raceing,Skiing,Track and Field.(Javelin,Shotput, discus throw to name a few) was a major event back then fields would usually draw a crowd as it was one way of entertainment for the time. Croquet was a very serious sport too and sometimes got violent over how a ball "got hit" In America at least one story i know of a woman clocked her competitor in the belly after she had knocked her ball off the course! So Yeah Croquet is not for the weak of heart. And yes that was in Victorian Times actually was one of the first cases of Violence in the game and we still are not much more civilized now than back then over it.(see Golf) Anyway there are a lot of sports that can be done as Shadow has already put links up to the info I'll just shut up about it. |

Hmmm... I wonder if ice skating and skiing were leisure activities back then..? I certainly would like to try some winter sports. Certainly seems like the place for it come winter. |

Speaking of iceskating, I'd personally love to see a picture of various Bon Bon characters and Royal members having fun on and around a frozen lake. Some iceskating, others having a snowball fight or building snowmen or such. Kind of a big ensemble picture, like I recall seeing in some Disney comics when I was young. |
