Although it pains me to say it. I cannot in good faith purchase this game. With the greedy move made by Activision. Not only is the game going to be expensive with the $60, but they are charging 50 Dollars to play in the online multiplayer under the guise of their one year free DLC.
They are pretty much forcing their players to purchase the whole damn thing so that they no longer have to wonder whether people will buy it or not. Little do they know they are risking people not purchasing it period. |

Oh, then I was grossly misinformed by the people at gamestop. They handed me a flyer that said that it was a mandatory part of the online gameplay. |

Thats the thing that pisses me off about a majority of sales personel at department stores. They tend to know little to jack shit about the products they are trying to sell.
Let me explain, one time i was trying to connect both myn and my parrents PCs to an internet connection dispite them being in seperate rooms, So i had to get a wireless router. So i went to a store (that i shall not name) and asked if i need to have wireless modems on both PCs, and the dumb shmuck said yes they do. So i bought two wireless modems, and a wireless router, only to find out that the PC that wasnt in the same room as the router and the modem need the router. It's safe to say that i wanted to choke the twit, but refraind from doing so due to fear of going to prison. |

Silv, you can pretty much consider yourself lucky to have employee's that really know their stuff and can actually guarantee things about upcoming titles and other necessary info. Sadly for us, we get stuck with people whom sometimes don't give two shits about what they're doing and generally spread the misinformation given either to make people buy more, or because they simply don't know squat.
This doesn't happen just in Game stores but just about everywhere else. Best way to overcome this is by keeping upto date with the info right from the source.
...... In other words Internet. |

Kinda surprising how little people can care about their jobs when so many people are without one. You'd think it would put more pressure on people to do the job right, but is sadly not the case. |

Well, I never cancelled my preorder, but I think I will wait until after it comes out to see what it does in everybody else's eyes. |

No, Office Max. Ther wasn't a Best Buy in Alaska yet at the time. Thou for me, when the Best Buy opened up two years ago, it was a freaken improvement.
Eny way, the best way to find out if the sales person you are talking is a twit is to talk shop about some thing you know about the topic. Ther responce tends to tell me every thing i need to know about the person and if the person real does know what the hell he/she is talking about, and is trying to sell. |

Ahh Office Max...yeah the Office Max around my place of business is terrible...the workers are just plain lazy, and all they do is gossip gossip gossip...they may only put around 2 hours of work each day, and the rest is gossip. |

Here is what Im in debate about
Do I buy battlefield 3 or MW3?
or should I just be content with Halo anniversary ?
I think I'll probably be content with just halo, but who doesn't enjoy a different flavor know and then. |

My best opinion is this, i love Battlefield ever since BF Vietnam. But CoD is not bad either.
BF 3 campaign is amazing, when you get on the F 18 you feel like your on the F 18. Also BF 3 multiplayer you have to depend on your team. |

((Rune,
...well, I had a much longer post, and then I noticed that you guys said you had your "facts" all twisty-turvy.
Anyway, maybe what the GameStop pax was talking about is the fact that, to play MW3 live, you'd need a subscription to Xbox-live... hence the extra $50 bucks. )) |
