I noticed one of the options in the "Making a wish over PBB, what would you prefer between" section of the poll brought to light an idea I have been wanting to mention for awhile. In a way we could do a BonBon MMO and one way of doing that is on a program called Second Life. Wanted to mention this to see if anyone else has ever thought of this.

It is a possibility, but Second Life is a massive program and Ms. Santato, Mr. Trang and Mr. Day wouldn't be in full control over it.

I know that is the downside of it and also there is the threat of griefers which have been a problem to some places I hang out in. I just wanted to pass along the idea.

It's a good idea to bring up.

I had a second life account, but I never got into it. Too many things came up, too many projects and other interests that it took a step from back seat to dusty attic.

Ah well, we shall see.

I've got an account on Second Life - I go through periods of spending a lot of time there, and then being very idle. It's fun to hang out, to build things, and the like, but I don't have the modelling skills to build a themed area (there were a few I wanted to do).

Someday.... And it has been on my list of things.... to create an MMO of BonBon.... Most likely not this year but probably in a year or two, there will be an MMO project of some sort...

First step is making an MMO casino with the ability for members to chat with each other. Create their own persona...

It's really along long way from now... But I know a furry based MMO is going to be really kick ass.

It does sound really fascinating, albeit quite ambitious. It does not seem a small undertaking, in terms or programming, design, or artwork.

Would incredible to see it work, though.

I can't shake the familiar feeling I get when I hear of "puzzle pirates" but I'm drawing a complete blank, I'm afraid, Ronald.

Very cool on the MMO, I agree, a huge undertaking indeed, but with dedication and insanity comes results Wink Also with insomina but they aren't generally the best sort of results.... ;P

Like hell its not! I nearly completed an entire card game based off a video game one night without rest! As well as several ideas that I don't have the technical skill to do, but the insomnia has helped embed them into my head!

Also *wraps an arm around Jillian and tickles her a bit* Sorry I've been away.

Of coarse, but I was half hoping you would do the next line, but then again, a sighing Yarr in a pirate accent would be difficult to convey on a message board.

I do recall that line. I think that was the first thing he said. Then as Church was going over each member, he goes "Arrr, I have a southern accent" which he then snaps back "Dude, that is not a southern accent" "Garr"

"Simmons! What's that bloodsuckin' thing in South America? Eats goats." "The Chupacabra, sir." "Chupathingy! What do you think? Got a ring to it."

My Sarge impression is hard to beat, but I naturally speak with a drawl.

It'll be quite a while until we see any bit of this MMO thing, though. It'd be really nice to see.

Very Happy Yes! Beauty, Brains, plays Warhammer and can join along with our wonderful quotes! The points just keep adding up for you Kommy!

Well Ronald. A year or two from now when I'm halfway through with my college, perhaps I can help you out, but for now all I can do is suggestions and play testing.
