in the interest of preserving my sanity and two people's membership of this forum, i will explain what it is that you two seem to have missed.
Deviant Art has strict guidelines on what content is posted there. I don't know exactly what they are but I'd wager that they would be quite close to the guidelines Ronald has set out in the post at the top of this board. by that reasoning, it is logical to assume that links to DA would be acceptable.
Unlike AIM, MSN and other direct contact media, DA is a public site and posting there would be no more direct than posting here and waiting for a response, therefor posting one's DA account would hardly be considered 'personal information'. the difference between here and DA is that DA has PMs and does not fall under CCBILL jurisdiction.
by that means, one could exchange such desired things that are not allowed here without fear of repercussion from the PBB forum authorities.
(if by some chance i am wrong, i apologize) |

I did get your point Sliv. Thank you for the clarification. I also understand the reasoning behind the security of this site. The reason why I brought up dA was just something had sparking the wrong issue with it in my brain. Sorry, my head does that frequently, I just like to control it.

Introducing a new character of mine own creation:
Name: Lucas Suvae
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Species: Cat
Nationality: French- can speak it and English fluently, though English carries the French accent clearly.
Sexuality: Gay, but enjoys pleasuring women.
Occupation: Currently Unemployed
Appearance: Lucas's fur is dark purple but accented with pink tiger stripes. He's not very tall, only about five feet and four inches, six if you include his ears. He's missing one whisker on the left side of his face from a rather 'rough lover' from years past. His piercing green eyes can be considered to have their own split persona- if he looks at you with affection they can be the most adorable eyes in the world. However if he doesn't like you all that much, they can give the appearance of a tiger ready to strike at its prey.
He's rather 'petit' looking- small arms, small body, small hands and feet. He could pass as a teenager if not for his deep voice. He's also rather curvy for a man- on occasion Lucas would put on a dress to see how many straight men he could trick into bed.
Personality: Lucas is a genuinely cheerful fellow who is always in search of a fun time and a good laugh. He thinks nothing of 'what is proper and what is not' when he is about to tell a joke and as long as someone is laughing (even if its just himself) he won't hesitate to make the joke.
He loves meat. Nice, big, juicy steaks cooked medium. Unfortunately such an expensive taste has caused him to often run to the poor house.
Home: Lucas is currently searching for a place to stay in Bon Bon. He will likely end up living with his half-sister, Loretta.
Background: His father had taken him when he was very young to the city of Bon Bon while on leave (his father was in the French Army at the time) and while Lucas had played with some of the other children, his father had been out making more.
Years later when his father was dying of health conditions, he told Lucas about his sister in Bon Bon. Lucas didn't think much of it- by then he had learned what a manwhore his father had been. But after a few years of living a rather lonely lifestyle he began to wonder about his half-sister and, once he had saved enough coins, took the train out to Bon Bon. |
