I am reminded only too well of something my GF told me not too long ago. We were watching a movie in which one of the actors stated, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" She turned to me, looked me up and down and said, "Why spend all that money on a pig for one tiny sausage?"

| Are you kidding? Look at my post number. I did'nt become the second highest poster, behind Ronald, by only posting every once in a while. I'm always up for a good conversation, which is what we're having, more or less. Just don't go getting impolite or uncivil and no one, least of all me, should have a problem. Besides, if someone starts having a problem with someone else, they'll speak up and get it resolved. So no worries. |

It comes from Julius Caesar's narrative of his campaign against King Pharnaces II of Pontus in 47 BC, which Caesar brought to a rather abrupt end by utterly crushing Pharnaces at the Battle of Zela. Veni vidi vici formed the entire text of his written report to the Senate on the progress of the campaign. |

That reminds me of a funny gag my friend did once. If I remember right it was something like this...
