Hi!
The minicomic about Zone is about to reach its conclusion. I finished inking the page yesterday, and I'm sorry for the delay. It took more than foreseen because I wasn't able to decide about the ending. I did know how the action should take place: Zone's vanishing magic, Randy's flabbergasted reaction, Betty comes up, Randy tries to explain what happens, Betty doesn't believe him and then a finishing gag... but putting all this in a single page was really difficult!
I kept my word of doing only 4 pages, but I put 8 panels in the last page and therefore I needed more time. If the pages had 5 panels they would have been in time, but I would have needed at least 5 or 6.
Page 3 had 8 panels too, but I already knew how to set it up thanks to the layout. Take into consideration that sometimes an artist has to do many attempts, and more than one sketch to decide how a page will come out. Not to mention that the 31 of December I partied until 3 AM and I took a day of vacation myself ^_^! (I'll show you some photos, because I received gifts from two royal members! Wink

)
I'll need two days to color it, but the result will be really pretty.
Moreover Ronald currently can't put up the new Gem Swap with Caroline, but it's almost done, and when you'll see it you'll be satisfied.

If/when a second flash is made, I thought if Vanessa so chooses, another minicomic could be made to followup the first one. I'm assuming that where Zone-Tan teleports to is unknown in the current minicomic, presumably 'home'. But...what if instead, Zone-Tan ends up in Scarlett's castle? Before anyone cites the no beastie rule, hear me out. Scarlett starts to advance on Zone-Tan, who defends herself by opening a portal from which tentacles emerge and have their way with Scarlett, giving her an experience she never forgets. Zone-Tan makes her escape, the tentacles disappear, and Scarlett is left wanting her 'smooth-skinned' friend to come back...

Just saw the end and it was awesome. Poor Randy and his broken tail and looks like he got marked for life. I also hope Zone enjoys the movie. Wink

Saw the final page, and it's great ending. On top of that, I can incorporate the event into the my story for a second Zone minicomic if a second flash is made:

Zone-Tan receives the Randy mauling as an apology, and is invited to a more private premiere at Gantros' completed tower. Zone-Tan casts her spell, but gets the castles mixed up and ends up in Scarlett's bedchamber. Scarlett starts to advance on Zone-Tan, who in a panic, instead of teleporting herself out, opens a portal where tentacles come out and 'ravage' Scarlett. Zone-Tan then subdues one of the gargoyles trying to hold her, uses the right spell, and Scarlett is left begging her new 'friend' to come back...

Meanwhile, at the tower, everyone is wondering where Zone-Tan is? End of comic.

I think the little comic was great fun. I look back though and wonder if I shouldn't have given up my seat to someone else to view like Xivk did. ^^; I don't want Labrn appearing narcissistic, going off to watch himself in a porn. Kind of gives that tone from American Psycho where the main character watched himself in the mirror while having sex with the two women.

Ah well, no worries I suppose. Thank you once again for including me Vanessa. ^_^
