Post-traumatic amnesia is generally due to a head injury (e.g. a fall, a knock on the head). Traumatic amnesia is often transient, but may be permanent of either anterograde, retrograde, or mixed type. The extent of the period covered by the amnesia is related to the degree of injury and may give an indication of the prognosis for recovery of other functions. Mild trauma, such as a car accident that results in no more than mild whiplash, might cause the occupant of a car to have no memory of the moments just before the accident due to a brief interruption in the short/long-term memory transfer mechanism. The sufferer may also lose knowledge of who people are, they may remember events, but will not remember faces of them.
Memory is often classified as immediate (retention of information for a few seconds); short-term (retention of information for several seconds or minutes); and longterm (retention of information for days, weeks, or years). In short-term memory loss, patients can remember their childhood and past events but fail to remember events that happened in the past few minutes. In long-term memory loss, patients are unable to recall events in the remote past.
adept link isnt suffring from short term memory loss he has Post-traumatic amnesia as ya can see both of these type of memeory loss are compltly diffrent |

I'm not very good with words, so I apologize if I say anything stupid:
When I first met you here, I thought of you as a fun guy with a quirky attitude for life. Heck, it was rather cool to know about you being in a band. My opinion about you has not changed the slightest. I still think of you as the same likable goofball I met several months ago. |

*coughs.*
Funny... Catherine disagree with your comment. Mika cannot trust Link, he get lonely fast and tries to finds a spare mistress when her "beautiful kitty" is away.
N'hésite pas à fouetter ce menteur.
