The lioness let out another gasp "Really?!" she said rather surprised. It wasn't too often that she'd get to keep the painting and she always enjoyed talking with the artists that did.

"Of course," Alex says smiling still, "it may be my work but i prefer others to enjoy them, makes me happier that."

Gently placing his hand on her shoulder, "Ok if your sure there isn't anything else i can do." looking at the canvas over her shoulder.

Suddenly a small gust of wind came up moving his hair slightly and he recognized a familiar scent, "Rose blossoms." he says suddenly sniffing the air.

Rhoda smiled and nodded "I'm sure Alex." the lioness said happily. The wind blowing from behind her, carrying her scent on the wind.

Turning his head towards Rhoda a sly grin on his face, "Not sure how i missed it up til now," lowering his nose to her shoulder and taking in a deep breath then pausing while he savors it a moment, "But it's a very lovely scent, and fits you perfectly."

Unable to help himself he leans in closer to her, his nose right against her neck and he inhales deeply several times before he pulls back.

Blushing himself at what he had been doing, "Sorry," he says with his ears drooping, "I couldn't help it, i love that scent."

Stepping towards her again he leaned his head in again towards her neck taking in what scent he could til his nose was pressed against her neck again, her fur tickling his nose.

He went from one side of her neck taking in the scent, letting his nose control where he went his eyes closed and his cheeks flushing.

Without even realizing it he began to go lower from her neck, pressing his nose slowly into the top of her clothing looking for more of the powerful scent.

Rhoda giggled softly and pulled the wolf away from her scent. She smiled and giggled softly once more "Now Alex, we'd have to get to know each other more first." the lioness said with a warm smile.

Finally opening his eyes he blinked a few times, realizing what he had been doing by the way the top of her shirt was pushed down.

Laughing nervously he stepped back, "Guess i was getting to far ahead of myself," shuffling his tail nervously in the grass, "I sometimes get like that if i find something i enjoy."

"Can i buy you lunch to make up for it?" he says his ears upright again.

His tail wagging happily behind him, "Great!"

running over to his supplies he began to put the lids back on the paints, and putting the brushes back into the box and shoving it all back into the bag, "Just give me a moment." taking the palettes he wrapped them in some old pieces of leather and set them on top of everything else in the bag, then picking it up and placing it over his shoulder he turned to the Easel and canvas, taking the canvas off he folded the easel up and then carefully picked up the painting holding it like a waitress holds a serving tray to avoid smudging any wet spots.

"Shall we go then?" turning to Rhoda unable to offer her his hand.

"Should we stop by my home first? You can set your things there so our lunch won't be cluttered." Rhoda said with a smile.

Alex enjoyed the stroll through the woods, occasionally the breeze would blow from Rhoda's direction and the scent hit his nose, he'd grit his teeth a moment to keep his head straight.

Once they reached Rhoda's home, she smiled and unlocked the door "Come on in Alex." she said.

Following Rhoda quickly Alex enters the room, "Is this ok?" he asks pointing towards a small table.

Walking over to the table he gently sets the painting on the table, then places the easel and his bag on the floor next to the table.

"Any place you prefer to eat?" looking at Rhoda as he steps over towards her flexing his shoulder a little bit.

Chuckling softly he scratches his chin, "Well I've been looking for a place that has a really nice steak, i haven't had a decent steak like my but...," stopping suddenly he clenches his fist a moment.
