"well we'll need to find a group of plants in the forest, in certain areas to make the potion, when we find everythign i will tell you what kind of transformation potion it is"

He said as he started walkign into the forest and pulled out a machete from his robe to cut down the tallgrass and trees so he can help everyone walk through easier.

Hex held the books in one hand and balanced himself on a tree with the other. "Three years ago there were floods and mudslides which occurred in October that killed at least 31 people, mainly on the Ionian coast in the Province of Messina but also affected other parts of northeastern Sicily. Thankfully, the weather has been merciful for us since. Especially here."

Hex was careful to not hit the trees with his antlers, also making sure Miss Blossom was okay. He inhaled deeply in a small clearing.

"I'm excited about this place you're taking us to, Andrew. I once visited the botanical garden in the Casentinesi Forest at Valbonella... It is a lovely place rich with magickal materials."

He watched out for both of them, because of everything that might happen.

"i wished i knew more of bon bon and Italy I'm just form Kentucky, the USA. but i learned what i need about the occult i just wished so i could relate more"

Serena jumped off the tree from behind Hex. "I haven't lived here long, either. I've been here a year, but that is truly not long enough to study any flora or fauna around here." She kept following the two as they walked deeper in the woods.

He wlaked and got his book and red it and noticed he needed some wild plants so he cut some to use. "Yes wished i lived here longer than i have been"

"I think despite my adventures, I will always return here, especially Bon Bon. It's the perfect hiding place for an imperfect animal such as myself." , answered Hex as he stepped into the grass as quietly as he could behind Andrew.

"I was raised with magic being as real as my family, and I've made a spiritual life from those occult practices. And there is always more to learn. May I ask, Miss Blossom, what interested you in alchemy?"

"Mainly, if I must say, I would rather be an assisstant. I've always enjoyed nature. And I've had a habit of studying the local plants and whatnot to learn their attributes. But as I said earlier, I'm still new here and I haven't had time to study as much as I would like to," she said.

"I was interested in it mainly because of nature's part in it."

"yeah wished i could relate more I've just got certain interest tan i study them, i mean most of the furs in town know me i mean who would run up and wanna talk with a sloth that's well versed in like 3 activities music,magic, and studying. but me i enjoy what i do"

He said as he thoguht of what he needed

"ok hex look for a garnet stone and the leaf off an apple and serena look for a rose, a lemon and i'm going to look for some lettuce, meet back at the house when we find this stuff"

The blue caribou smiled. "Ah..! Earth elements. They are especially pure in the wild as opposed to a farm and a jeweler's money minded energy. I'm looking forward to your potion, Andrew."

Hex looked through the alchemy book Miss Blossom brought. "Interesting... Noah apparently used a garnet lamp during the dark days of the Great Flood... Garnet is found in red, orange, yellow, and green colors... Here it is... Now I know where to dig for it. Finding a wild apple tree shouldn't be too difficult because it's in season."

Then, Hex used his own belt to hold the alchemy book and the Italian herbs book together. "Miss Blossom, will you need these for your search?"

"Not for yet such a simple search. If you wouldn't care to hold them, dear Hex, that would be appreciated. You may even use them for your search if you want." Senera bounded off into the forest to hunt the flower and fruit.

Hex held onto the books as he watched Ms Blossom forage for Andrew's components. Then he answered the sloth's question.

"Well, I'm almost certain it's not a delicious tea, sir. Although, I'm not sure if it would be fair to our lady bird for only us to know what the potion is meant to do. It's up to you."

"yes that would be rude i respect her assistance to mush to trick her, and we know before" he said as he smirks but not sarcasically or rude. he than gets the knife form his coat and cuts some leafs down to get to the botanical gardens and the moutnain faster.

"thought of doign that whiel she's looking to make everything go quickly"

Off in the woods

"...Such a sweet simple rose, yet oh so hard to find." Serena walked through the woods. She tossed the lemon, lightly into the air as she walked. "I found the lemon quite quickly, but the rose yet so elusive..."

The wind blew with a slight gust. Several leaves fluttered from a tree into the distance. "A sign?"

Serena followed the leaves' path and stumbled across a rose bush. "Yay, now I can go back." She picked four roses. She stripped the thorns from one and tucked it into her satchel.

When she returned she presented Hex with a rose and Andrew with two. "One for you, sir Hex, and two for you, mister Andrew. One for your potion and one for you," Serena said with a smile.

He grabbed a small trowel and spade from Andrew's bag then carefully made his way down the hill towards a nearby running creek.

Mr Hex was casually walking down the hill to the creek when he suddenly slipped and fell on his tail. "Shoggoth!" he barked, taking off his dress shoes.

"Furries are better off bare hoof, I mean, barefoot. Well, at least in the wild."

The blue caribou held his breath, noticing a butterfly come close then perch on a tip of his antlers. The butterfly waved it's wings slowly for a moment before taking flight again. "Thank you, gentle spirit. This is a most fortunate day!" , he said, climbing down to the creek below.

Mr Hex dug into the dirt with Andrew's small tools, hoping to find the garnet he needed for the secret potion. He sifted through small clumps of dirt in his hands through the running creek several times. And just like magic, he soon found a handful of precious stones. Of course, he recognized a particular translucent rock as a yellow garnet.

He smiled. "How can I not believe in magic with such bounty easily found in my hands? I must come back to this place for these special elements. But where will I find an apple tree?"

Mr Hex was startled by a fish flipping in the water nearby. Hex followed it's direction out of slight curiosity until he looked at the lush green on the other side of the creek. There, surrounded by it's fallen fruit stood an apple tree.

Serena gently tossed the lemon into the air several times. Suddenly a gust of wind blew the lemon away to roll down a the hill towards Hex. "Just my luck..." she said as she started to chase the rolling fruit.

Andrew noticed the two and looked for soemthing he needed but didn't tell them. He looked for a group of berries and some wood from a mahongay tree to make a certain bowl.

"So let's see we've got everything we need and i got what i was gonna get"

Mr Hex had his pantslegs rolled up and was about to wade into the creek when the lemmon rolled and bounced up to his hooves.

He looked up and said, "Careful, Miss Blossom! It's a slippery slope!"

Serena tried to stop, but hit a slick spot on the hill. She let out a yelp as she slid down the slope into the water. Her coat snagged on a tree root on the slope and ripped off.

"Oooh... Now my outfit's soaked. Mr. Hex, would you mind helping me out?" She started to stand.
