What's the matter, Labrn, don't you like the rain?

Not exactly Ashton. Its just..I've been looking forward to some outdoor activities, and everytime I get a chance to, it rains. *sigh*

Well, the sun has been making a comeback.

So, hopefully we'll be able to get out and enjoy the outdoors before the winter wonderland sets in. Though that can be fun too...I'm still accustomed to very hot weather.

I'm looking forward to a fishing trip into the North Woods this winter. A few weeks of peace and quiet. Also no electricity or plumbing, but i think thats the best part. A buddy of mine has a cabin up there, in the middle of the woods.

As soon as the snow starts falling, I'm there!!! Very Happy Very Happy

I dunno... Maybe I could stand the no electricity. But I rather like plumbing. Not having a clean water is a real pain in the rear. Often literally. Razz

Laughing

Well, from what I've been told, there is well water inside, but as for working facilities.....well.....either one gets used to a chamber pot (well, actually a 'port-o-pot' Smile )...or you'd better grab a coat and a flashlight! Laughing

A little life in the military will both help teach you to be able to live without the common, taken for granted technological marvels of plumbing and electricity as well as teach to you have a greater respect and gratitude for all the little things.

I agree Brandon. A nice little vacation in the woods, in a winter wonderland would be exciting. Anyone care to join?

Indeed, Labrn. I am looking forward to it. Some ice fishing, bow hunting. I'll be there alone most of the time, save when my friend and his wife will be there. So i'm gonna have lots of time to write, play my guitar, all by firelight. Just enjoying the solitude.

hmmm....guess i have more in common with Brandon then I thought Confused Smile

Infact, there are a few things that I'm a bit proud to have in common with Labrn. Wink
