Air and Beck sound familiar too... but I can't seem to place them.

I'm sry about that you need more anime and if you want some i am willing to point you to some websites that might help
as for you Johnny the manga is a lot better than the anime but just seeing the mixture between pencil art and CG is truly amazing and the story is great. |

ok two things johnny
1 you are not a rare otaku you are the majority most in fact all otaku's i know hate fansubs because they are not the real subs and that's just down right wrong no one like to read what someone thinks someone else is saying when they are totally wrong about it.
2 Dead leaves came out before Superjail so in that since Superjail is a knock off of dead leaves and i don't consider that a possibility do to the fact that Superjail is stupid on a whole new level. |

ok so i just watched The Cat Returns for about the 3 time and just realized that it was done by Hayao Miyazaki well the manga anyway.
its very good and i do recommend this to all the anime otaku's |

Seriously, though, I know it's a magical girl Anime, but it's amusing in certain places, and one of the characters has the ability to manipulate reality through his writing, and reality manipulation has always been an interesting plot to me.
Also up there is the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Serial Experiments Lain. Those are pretty good too. |

one site i go to for anime related stuff Drof would be onemanga.com, then you have mangafox.com, as you can tell both are for manga if your looking anime. i put it in some other threads a thing that could help and there was a thread for it at one time, but Ronald removed it so i don't know if i should bring it back up. so I'm not going to sorry but that's about all i can do for right now.. |

oh there's one manga on onemanga that i recommend reading... its called histories strongest desiple. its funny oh and there's a person in it that inspired my fursona in it as well.
i will let you find out who tho if you read it. |

ok been watching transformers......old school...
got to love the designs that they have...and on a side note did you know that optimus Japanese name is really Convoy and its different in each series....so it's like a new optimus each time. |

I know, but lets face it. At the time i was tired of the Pirates of the Carabean type of pirates, so it was refreashing when i first saw Black Lagoon. Also you get to see a scean with boobies. |
