Don't worry, Lydia... Slapstick comedy to the rescue!
*quickly grabs the unconscious duck and pours some fuel on the wound: as soon as the liquid touches it the bullet dissolves. Then he puts a large patch on the bullet hole.*
Unleaded fuel... works every time 
Hmm, there is still something...
*pulls out a wind-up key and winds up the duck; as the duck flies away, Martin wears a hound costume, pokes out of tall grass, points at Tearlach and giggles.*
