I just remembered something that confused me about the Blackjack. It seems that if you manage to get a five-card hand, you automatically win. I'm sure that isn't normal, or am I wrong? |

It's called a Five Card Charlie. I don't believe it is a mandatory thing. Some games have it, some don't. |

It's applied to every game of Blackjack I've ever played. I've always thought it was a standard mandatory rule. |

Huh. I always thought it was a case of if you had five cards, and had an equal total to the dealer, you won instead of it being a push, not a win-every-time. I guess I must've been wrong then. |

It might be in 'real' blackjack but I know some games online don't have it because it isn't coded in or something by default. |

I recall someone explaining it once to me, as the college Labrn lives by was having a casino night and we went and played some games there. Sadly, not for real money, else Labrn would have to buy me a new car with what he won.
If you get a five card hand and your total is 21 or less, you win automatically, because the odds of not busting after 4 cards are very high. since there are a great deal of cards with a value of 10, it makes busting so easy. I think that was the reason, as best I can remember his explanation. |

Is it also usual for you not being allowed to split when dealt two identical cards? I thought that was a general rule, though I guess it could be tricky to work into a flash game; most flash games of Blackjack I've played don't include it. |

Ronald, I don't suppose you could just give us the number of current subscribers, could you? Not any names, just the total number. Or even an "Above ____" number? |

Nothing makes you feel luckier than a 4 leaf clover on St. Patrick's day then getting two aces, choosing to split, and getting a face card for each.
If each of us can vote only once, it looks like 38 Ashton. |

I think some things can make a person feel luckier. A night with you, for instance. |

Well, the POLL on this forum is not accurate.
There are WAY more members on the site then forum users.
People who aren't members can vote on this poll.
I should have just ran a poll on the audition gallery instead. |

Well any of the gentlemen here can spend an evening with me. I enjoy dinner and a movie as much as the next. Unless you were referring to bedding down with me during that evening. In that case, yes, I'm afraid it'll have to stay some lucky dreams for most. |

Well, dinner and a movie with you would be very enjoyable, though I was, admittedly, referring more to the "bedding down" (I like the way you phrased that) part. |

Dinner and a movie it is, then, dear, I'll pick you up. I certainly am always glad to share an evening with someone special, and it doesn't need to lead to anything. |

Careful, I could read that one two ways.

Well thank you Tursi. Hmm...a man in uniform. Perhaps I could see you as a replacement for a certain something I'm putting together. I'm sure Johnny wouldn't mind either. |
