I know this might be a little late  But still Welcome Back! I'm new here, hence why you wouldn't know me.
If you're still having that writers block have you considered simply working on something else, that has absolutely no relevance to what you wanted to write about? Whenever i get stuck on a physics problem, I'll go and read a fantasy book or browse the web, and eventually later on, (maybe even a day or two, or three) It'll suddenly click and I'll have a route to try on the problem.
