Never fell in love, but at the rate I'm going, I don't think I will. I won't look at it as a bad thing, since I can't provide much for myself, so I can't expect to do the same for somebody else. |

Umm.... I admire your enthusiasm Henk, but honestly, I do not swing that way. I mean, I am a fairly open minded person, and I am no homophobe, I just can't |

Happy belated 4th, everybody! Spent the day with beer and Boom Boom Rocket, so life was good. I hope you all had fun as well! |

Boom Boom Rocket? I'm not familiar with what that is Xebulon.
Now, because I'm feeling a bit flirty from some of the last few threads, who's up for making some more fireworks? |

I am! *Grins happily and waves her tail, pulling a collection of chemical canisters out of her pockets*
It's always a blast knowing just enough chemistry to be dangerous. |

Yep! I even know how to get the nice, bright colors in the explosions.
Science is fun when you know the secret. |

And I've got the first aid and burn treatment kits in abundance and I've alerted Corran and the rest of the Fire Brigade to be on standby. |

Oh, I have no doubt I would. The closest near death-experience I ever had was when I though I'd lost my camera |

I've been hit by a car...Twice. Losing a camera doesn't seem all that bad...I'd kill to trade with you, Miss Agent. |

Oh, God! Don't get me started. I've been gassed, irradiated, poisoned, infected, bitten, flash frozen, burnt, attacked, lasered, saponified, and set on fire in the course of research.
Interesting factoid: Laboratory scientists live 7 years less than human average. |

That happened to me too... the paramedics scissored my favorite coat to bits and the drunks in the bar across the street stole my groceries.
At least I got 1K out of it... |

Id be hugely interested to know if there are any funny stories behind those events, especially the flash frozen part. |

Eh, not particularly. Most are simply the results of faulty equipment, clumsiness, or some unavoidable hazard of the job. For example, I was flash frozen a bit when filling up a container of liquid nitrogen, but the valve on the dispenser had frozen in place. So I got a bunch of it spilled on my feet as I frantically whacked and twisted the valve with a wrench.
There's a reason I usually wear enormous, thick, steel toed boots to work. No lasting damage thanks to them. |

By the sounds of all the hell you go through as a scientist, if there is a way to turn people into their furry selves, you'll be the first to go with a little too much radiation. |
