"Either case presents its own difficulties. I suppose what others think of me is just an excuse for my own qualms with the things I have done." Samuel explained. "The premise for all my actions was my own survival, but I was raised to be a killer and yet maintain a civilized face to society. The blood of many remains on my hands, but I was sent to Bon Bon as those I worked with were being hunted and killed. Few are the nights where I am not haunted by those I've killed. So now you know, I am a murderer."

"Sort of, I belonged to an order that payed me and assigned me the contracts. The unfortunate part was they would have killed me had I ever failed an operation. All my wealth has come from the lives of others, which is part of the reason I price my clothing so low. I get discounts on my materials because of some things I know, but I would feel terrible if I were to continue to increase my wealth from that life. Now I survive on what I've had and sell the clothes for a minimal profit, but usually at cost." Samuel explained, slightly surprised by the unchanging expression on Loretta's face.

"I'd like to think that the burden of guilt and remorse is a sign that I am but a man, and not some invincible angel of death, as my name was to imply. Samuel was taken from the angel Sam'ael, the angel of death. My life has shown me only the darker side of humanity, yet I am supposed to shrug it off or sweep it under the rug? Funny how the calm has given way to the storm that had brought me here in the first place. I guess I should return home, but I would certainly appreciate the extra company if you would join me and I could of course compensate you for your time. Samuel explained, starting towards the door.

"I used to have company, but those times have passed. So for now, I'm on my own. The only company I have now are my memories, and that's usually something I try to avoid." Samuel said as he opened the door to let Loretta in.
