XD thanks. It seems I've gotten quite a bit better at making characters since I made Cassandre. I love her lots, but she was too screwed up to actually keep.

But I think I'll also keep Ana Krieg. I can't wait to roleplay her~ <3

I've identified myself with very few, custom alter egos, This site and DA has facilitated me to create and get attached to them though; I'm so new at this but I would say keep her, it sounds like she was a loved alter ego of yours.

It is funny that you brought this up.
I was contemplating a bio for the other Thorne the robot one, and I'm saying that another reason he is shunned by his fellow robots its for the taboo practice of transferring your consciousness into another body, one of the forms I thought of was a gun that would be wielded by a cat girl, in quest to find a suitable organic body to aid the relationship!

But thats another story.

This is going to be the basic form of the story arc and game plan.

Set in 1934, the story opens in China with the head of the largest Chinese Tong Clan and criminal mastermind Fu-Manchu creating a weather control machine/weapon amongst other inventions with the intention of ruling China and eventually the World!!!!
Before he can do so Japan has its own plans for world domination and has invaded Manchuria. This is direct opposition to Fu-Manchu's covert operation and so he plots to drive the Japanese from China first, using his own inventions and black magic. However this compels the Japanese to invoke their own gods and demons and our heroes are slap-bang in the middle of the war.
Our characters are brought to China by calls for help, money, friendship or any other reason. (I think it best for each player to think up a reason for being in China.)
It will become clear in the story that ALL the players are re-incarnations of the legendary heroes of Lang Shang Po, a Chinese version of the knights of the round table and Robin Hood. They must find the Jade Emperor defeat both Fu-Manchu, the Japanese and their allies, and restore order.
I hope this whets peoples imagination enough to bring a few more players in to the game. Wink

I don't like reincarnation idea too much, but it won't affect me, this is just for fun so I can live with that. In my mind my character is kind of a companion, I just envision him accompanying one of the other characters in a kind of servitude manner like "thanks for not letting me rust away now allow me to smash some heads".
Any thoughts, I can change this and contemplate his own journey to the area the what for and why.

Please do not think that the re-incarnation plot line is going to be in any way intrusive on the players characters. It will be just a device in the story to justify bringing the characters together to fight and to find the Jade emperor.

The plot device of the Lang Shang Po outlaws fighting for honour and justice is based ont a true Chinese legend which was dramatized ironically by the Japanese in the seventies.

It'll be alright, I'm mature enough to accept it as part of the story, its for the story, I don't agree with it personally but it won't affect me in this. Everything is good Tearlach.

One thing I'm curious about. Are there any special rules or procedures with this? Having not done one of these yet on the PBB forum, I'm still unsure how everything thing is supposed to play out. Is this going to be like D&D at all or nothing like it in the slightest?
