Sheesh, who would have that that my shield abilities needed some massive work. Well, having some shield hardeners with about 15 days worth of skills ought to straighten that out.

It depends on the ship, but Hulks are natural shield tankers without the equipment and skills. By adding shield hardeners and boosters, with the appropriate skills, it becomes what is known as a shield tanker.

Some types of people are shield tankers, others are armor tankers. It depends on the race of origin with the ship, as well as the loadout of the ship itself. There are plenty of modules that can support either.

Well, not necessarily. The shield resistance is awfully high for something that is as large as a High. It is already near impervious to explosive, kinetic, and thermal damage, and has very decent EM resistance. Add the shield hardeners to the equation to further that resistance, as well as arming a shield booster, you can tank most high dollar ships. Hell you can survive an onslaught of smartbombs and you would only see half you shields gone.

Oh yea i know, the game works with energy that everytime you do something it uses some up till it goes empty and you either have to wait or pay to get more.

Not as bad as this other game my friend tried to get us to play, something called global agenda that said 'Now free to play on steam".

I was just sticking to spiral knights so they went to play, were having fun saying i should join till they got to this end part that said end of free trail pay this amount to play the full game. I was laughing at them. lol

You would be surprised at how evasive a game can be till you play the 'full game'. Heh, makes you feel foolish when you have to pay.

Heh, which is why some games have to be played to the fullest. I like EVE mostly because its a challenging experience that requires patience, and an understanding of the various professions in order to excel.
