Unlike you two, my species was set in stone since I'm a self made version from the cartoon Bucky O'Hare. It would be hard to call myself an Aldaberan if I was a camel or something.
I think you two made fine choices, and have truly added something to the group. Especially our foxy born equine here. Just imagine if you went with an afro for Constance. XD |

An afro???
Is that because of her ebony looks?
I think I'll pass on that though . I really like how Vanessa has drawn Constance's hair, both in the pinup and in the comic. It looks so soft, so pretty, and just so extremely perfect on her.
BTW, now you've got me thinking of how to create a character based on a camel. I think it could be interesting, though I'm not really sure what I associate with camels. |

S/He'd be an apothecary. Maybe even wearing the full emissary robes and hiding his/her face while helping Kommy deliver the aphrodisiacs and elixirs she creates. |

Oh, wow... Two humps for the price of one. I am going to have to seriously consider that...
Nothing wrong with foreign merchants. With a camel my mind just keeps drifting to tobacconist, though... |

Well, that would only be if it was a bactrian camel. If it was a dromedary, it would still be just the one hump. |

And mixed species are not possible, because vannessa has decleared that only of the same species can have cubs/ children.
|
yeah Goddess isn't a hybrid, but when someone asks me: what is a 'ka-maya' (my own made species) i try to explain it that way XD
you know what i mean???
but that doesn't mean her great great grand daddy was a kittycat and her great great grand mammie was a cobra
no, not like that, it's my own 'created' species XD |

You can have a hybrid species. Like Gantros. He's not a pure bat, though he is a mix of them. As long as its something that's not too far off, like part elephant part hippo. |

*Twitches, her biologist sense tingling*
A what-hybrid..? Lioness, mink, cat, ferret, cobra? Great Gregor Mendel's ghost! They're not even all mammals, though at least they all have backbones...
*Goes off to hug a Punnet square, weeping quietly*
I mean, if you don't like the common animals, there's nothing stopping you from looking for *real* exotic animals. I mean, I'd love to see a capybara, a tanuki, a lemur, armadillo, red panda, hyrax, or even the fearsome and terrifying honey badger... |

They would be good to see, yes, plus many other animals - too lengthy a list to voice. Speaking of armadillos, there is/was Dillon. Whatever happened to him? |

Personally, I'd like to see a naked mole rat as a character in Bon Bon... and in keeping with his name, he'd be a nudist. Plus blind, or at least very near-sighted, like Mr. Magoo. Yup, all wrinkly and pink, with big coke-bottle glasses...
Wait I think I just described Professor Farnsworth from Futurama...
Ugh, on second though, maybe that's a terrible idea... |

Heck wouldn't Mr. Molerat be one of those dreadful flashers you always hear about, wearing a thick coat all of the time? Then instead of flashing the people of Bon Bon because hes near-sited, he'd flash like lampposts or mailboxes? |

Then the next panel is some of the "working girls" shouting at him. "Hey! If your gonna do that, then at least charge like the rest of us!" |

*reads Kommy's*
yeah, know what you mean.
My chara's species is more what you call it: dessert type.
i don't know what's all in her blood precisely,
i was tired to hear from people: your character does not look like a lion! O_O
me: why?
them: the ears!!!
me: ... well (has tried so hard) well, she's a tad different she's a hybrid
her last name is Kamaya, so i thought Kamaya could be her species (so original...) |

Back on topic, I've noticed rats don't get a very good rap in the "furry" community. Crooks, theives and worse... Maybe that's the reason I chose one. Wanting to be different with a dash of self-depracation thrown in for good measure, lol.

I love rats, at least. They're cute, social, intelligent, and they feel affection. They even laugh when you tickle and play with them, happily scampering after your hand as you play with them, wanting more fun and attention. I've seen them run mazes and use a litter box. They're the most shockingly human-like animal I know. If they get to know you, it's so easy to sooth them when you give them an intraperitoneal injection because they like and trust you.
Made it easy and hard to do my work sometimes.
Never felt that way about mice or pigs, strangely. Just rats. Much easier with mice. Sorry for going on a little. The picture brought up memories. |

I had a rat for sometime since I wasn't allowed any larger animals at home when I was a kid due to family allergies. His name was Splinter (youll never guess the reference, dont even try ) and he was fun. I miss that rat. I have a cat now, I dont think it would work out if I tried to get another one. |

yes, I agree most rat's get used for the 'bad guy's' job, though in reality they can be so sweet and kind :/
I never had a pet rat though, but I saw some, I was more of a Ferret person.
would be quite amusing to see someone with a fish though.
Like in the movie: lil chicken (or how it's called) |
