* For the fifth time in so many minutes, Marco made a slight adjustment to the arrangement of small iron wrought fixtures and collection of ornaments that he had been working on for the past week. He gazed upon them with a certain amount of pride before looking up into the crystal blue sky. It pleased him that his first open air sale was blessed with such perfect weather and had even gone to the trouble to put on his good Sunday clothes for such an event..granted they were not as fine or fancy as he had seen other Furres adorned in, but he was a simple bear and felt that his work should be the eye catchers..not himself. Setting a wooden chair in front of the main display table and pouring himself some fruit punch that he had brought out in a pitcher...he sat back and decided to enjoy the good weather and engage in his most favorite of passtimes...that of people watching.*

You see a 10ft Elephant walking down the road and he seems to notice your stand and walks over to it and begins to look at the many things on the tables. He seems to be browsing; but some pieces seem to catch his eye.

*standing up after noticing the rather large and impressive pachiderm approach one of the displays, he stretches his arms and walks over to where he seems to show the most interest.*

Pachs: Hello Sir you seem to be a vary skilled metal worker....Do you only work with decor or does your skill spread to Blacksmithing or Whitesmithing?

Ah...these are indeed my craft but I've been known to dabble with other comissions as well. Perhaps if you tell me what you have in mind...I can give you and estimate as to how long it would take and how much it would cost.

*crossed his arms as he pondered the Pachiderm's question..* I'm usually working with Iron and Copper as my main source of income...but I've worked with some of the more exotic metals that come to my forge. I've even worked a bit with bronze plating but not very recently.

Anything to keep my skills sharp and competitive. That owl fellow I've heard of is good enough to give me pause for thought...and I even here there is a Komodo around that is doing the most wonderful things with statues..

Pachs: Well I have worked with the Military and have recently developed a light weight armor thats Bullet Proof for soldiers can wear.

Medel walked into the market square with her advertisement signs under her arm. She was so glad she didn't have a stall in the middle of the market any more, but in order to gain customers she had to place her signs all around the square. she passed the stall that the new blacksmith had set up

(FYI Medel's Threads are all separate so she hasn't met any one as far as im concerned))

*frowned at the mention of the military...his own past being recalled as he shook his head* I am sorry my friend...that is a part of my trade that I try to avoid. I want my creations to inspire warmth. However, if there is anything other than that you need help with..I would be more than happy to offer my help.

Pachs: Well its not really and idea; I have a prototype. It is a Rocket....I have been working on it for well over 20 years and I believe that if I could get it to work I could send a Furson to the moon and back safely.

He walks over next to the Bear as he talks.

A rocket....to the moon you say? *idly he scratches his jaw as his mind seems to try to wrap itself around the concept...his free paw tapping idly at the table..*

The very idea...you would need a frame and structure to support the speeds necessary to ....but then you'd also need a propellant that could generate such force needed to ACHIEVE said speeds... however..

*this goes on for more than a few seconds...* Tell me...how far have you gotten with this concept...you mentioned a prototype?

((BTW Medel so dosent like being called a komodo and she usually tries to introduce herself to every one she meets as a dragon so most of the city knows her as a dragon and if she ever over hears some one call her a Komodo or a lizard she might kill them or at least make them wish they were dead))

Medel Sets her sign down near one of the isles between stalls in an empty space the sign reads 'Medel's Dragon Treasures to the East of market Square'

I think for now I will have to decline my friend...as I have my stall to look after and today should be a good day for me to make a bit of florin to help pay for the fun that this place provides.

*turning as he noted the presence of Medel as she set up her shop, he waved...giving her a pleasant smile and shouting out to be heard over the bussel and din of the market.*

And here I thought the sun already rose today ..and yet here I see before me...a sunrise more gorgeous then Mother Nature could provide herself...Hello!

Medel looked over at the sound of some one saying hello and saw a Bear and a Elephant standing there

"why hello boys how are you today?"

she strode over to them and stood with her hand on the edge of the bears stall her other sign under her arm

"i cant stay and talk for very long im the only one to run my shop and i need to open it up...are you a black smith?"

she asked the bear looking at his wears

I've heard nothing but amazing things about your work...I must admit a bit of professional jealousy as I'm no where near to making things of such quality..

*moving so as to lift another crate of things he had wished to display..bending down and easily lifting the heavy crate in his arms to set it up for perusal*

"well i better get this other sign up and get back to my shop i will be seeing you...ill do you a favor if any one comes in looking for your kind of crafts i will point them your way ok"

she then strode off with her other sign towards the other side of the market towards the docks her hips swaying with each step her wings were flolded up tightly against her back

*set the box down and watched her depart...licking his lips a little as he was quite sure she knew just how damn good she looked doing that...shaking his head slightly to clear his mind of such thoughts..he returned to his work..
