Personally, I see more a horse or rather a mare even if the concept fit for both gender . She would be wearing a stetson playing blues, country (okay, it is probably to recent for the epoch), gospel or other folk north american folk music on a old guitar. Some kind of homage and parody of the cowboy and their musical inheritance.
Considerating we are in Bon Bon, the rest of her outfit would probably be only a bandanna, a chaps, gloves, a unbuttoned waistcoat, cowboys boots and of course a belt with the holster for the gun. She (he?) need nothing else. What do you think of the idea.
J'espère que ç te plaît comme explication.

Just like Paulie. Those parrots have great colourings and having a parrot to talk to would be totally cool. |

Not sure this is quite the route to go for a fursona. Shouldn't your character be more of an expression of yourself than the opinions of others?
Still, if I were forced to give an opinion, it would be more along the lines of a bird, as there seem to be a sparingly small amount so far, with drofgod being the only avian royal so far.
As such, a bird as a musician would have to be a songbird, though it would be terribly ironic to make a songbird fursona that was completely tone deaf. |

I'm thinking a Squirrel not only are they bright and intellegent but also natual comdeians. highly dextrous nimble not only could you sing but be versed in a multitude of styles. From classic Opera right on through to Bluegrass Im acually surprised that no one does jazz in PBB it is around (note classic Jazz not the newer stuff from the 40's up) As well you'd have a lot of energy to put on long shows if you wish. anyhow my 2 cents hope give you some ideas. |

While I appreciate dragonfly's comments, they are a bit skewed as to my intent.
Johnny Cash is well know as "the man in black", same color as a crow. Also the quote from Walk the Line, "You look like you're going to a funeral", reminded me that crows are often associated as harbingers of death. It just seemed like a fitting species to parallel the famous singer. |

because i wanted to have a vote for a new one and to see what people would pick. i know noone will hate them. but in the first place everyone was just saying animals that have been portrayed to sing. this was supposed to be musicians parodies.

Well instead of trying to match a species to a name of a musician look at musicians and try to imagine which species they remind you of.
