Firstly, I must ask that there be ABSOLUTELY NO SPOILERS!

Now that that is out of the way...

I've only ever gotten around to watching the first season of Heroes and always wanted to watch the remaining seasons of the series. I've been meaning to hire out the whole series and watch it and now I am doing so. I've just finished watching the first season and it was as spectacular and amazing as I remembered it. I have now moved on to the second season...

But something seems... off.

I intend to continue watching the series, but I just wanted to ask people who have seen what I have not what their opinions of the show are. I don't want to know what will happen. I don't want recommendations. All I want to know is how those who have watched more than I have found it.

As I stated I have only watched the first 3 episodes of season 2, so far; I will be watching more tomorrow. But this second season, so far, seems... different, slower maybe... as if less effort was put into it or if the original flame's brightness has passed its prime, burning brightly to begin but dying slow. The first season gripped me and my interest from the very beginning... But season 2 seems... less gripping. I'm still finding it good, but... just not that same spectacular that the first season was.

So I wanted to ask... Did others feel this way about the seasons after the first? Will the second season pick up? Or should they have left it with only 1 season?

All I am asking for is personal opinion. I would just like to get an idea of what lies ahead. Can I expect to see that same amazingness that first caught my attention? Or should I not get my hopes up?

Once again, please, PLEASE, no spoilers.

Wish I could say, but I've never even seen the show, though I've been aware that its been around.
