Hey, does anyone know if photoshop has a tool to take out red eyes in pictures. As i have just put my Vegas snapshot pictures on my computer, and all of the pictures have red eyes, as i didnt have my red eye reduction setting on  |

Hey Martina,
Red eye reduction on your camera should actually influence your flash, so the light doesn't reflect in the person that looks straight at the flash.
I used a plugin in fotoshop, but what it actually did was, when you mark they area where the red eyes are, replace the colour red with a different colour like blue or brown. So it can olso be easily done with the standard tools in photoshop..you just have to remember what colour the eyes were of that particualr person...I'm no photoshop expert though...Bennie can you help out?  |

I would gladly help but I have never done that, the slow way is selecting an replacing the colors 
As I am at my work I cannot check it further ...Success Martina !

Hi Martina,
I just checked on Elements 3.0 and there is a simple red eye reduction tool. I've never used it though so I don't know how good it is. Why don't you email me the worst affected picture and I'll try it out. I'd be glad to do them all for you if it works. |

I use to have PhotoStudio and that had an red eye reduction tool on there
The pictures came out pretty blurry anyway  |

Make one eye one color and the other eye another color. That should give your photos some real pizzazz.  |
