Hey Guys,
Im shooting for "High Times" Magazine this Thursday 21st April in Los Angeles. It should be a fun shoot
Im not yet sure of the schedule for that day, but im hoping ill beable to fly to LA in the morning and fly back to Phoenix in the evening, so i wont have to be away overnight, and able to sleep in my own bed 
Anyway i will keep you updated

| Good news, i just got my flights sent to me, and i will be only going to Los Angeles on a day trip for the High Times shoot. Ill be leaving this Thursday 21st Morning and returning in the evening |

Make a detour to Ohio and I'll smoke a fat spliff of the hydro with ya. Yesterday was 4-20!!! So I'm well stocked. I'll be sure to pick up a copy of that. Would you be so KIND(ha!) as to sign it if I sent it to ya? I'll send a big joint with it!

Yep, that happened. Then i turnt my alarm off, and went back to bed. I was lucky that Charlie came and woke me up just after 8am, otherwise i would of missed my flight |

Ok my stories.............
Ok i arrived at Los angeles airport early at 11.30am. I didnt have to be at the studio till 2pm, so i called the photographer at the studio and asked if i could come down early. He said i could come down at 1.20pm.
So to waste some time, i went over to the International terminal at LAX. I went to Starbucks and read my book for a while. Then i went to Mcdonalds, just got a cheese burger, and sat there and stuck on my fake nails.
I got in the cab about 1.15pm as the studio was ony 10 mins away from the airport. As we was passing what i thought was the studio, i said to the taxi driver i think its here. And he says no, you said you want South, and this is North. So im like ok, your the taxi driver you know where your going. 20 mins later i see the Hollywood Hills, and i say to the Taxi driver. Now i know for sure we are no longer South, but North. He fights with me and says no this is South. I start getting really annoyed, as i know now for fact that it isnt. But he still wouldnt believe me and carried on going the same way he was going. So i call the studio to find out the cross streets, ofcourse we was way past it. No i started shouting at the taxi driver to turn around, and that he didnt know where he was going. He started to turn around, and nearly crashes. Then he starts shouting at me, cause i gave him the address wrong. So i had to point out on a building where it said we were North before he actually realised he was wrong, and not me
When we finally got to the studio, at 2.05pm from what was meant to be a 10 min ride turned in to a 50 min ride The meter said it was $50, i threw at $20 at him and got out. These are the times when i miss the London Taxi drivers. It seems like here, people arrive from a different country, and start driving a Taxi, with no idea where they are going 
When i arrived Natalia was there. We both went into make up. And started shooting. We spent a hour or so doing a shot where i was holding a big bong, with Natalia pretending to light it. The make up they done on us was very natural, so no glamour shots here. We were wearing little bikinis that we were given with marijuana leaves on it, which were pretty cool.
Then Natalia and i did a shot, where we were feeding each other marijuana icecream. Then after i did some shots on my own, where i was holding a joint, and others where i was holding different types of marijuana candy bars. I didnt eat or smoke anything, as i knew 2 puffs and i would be gone, and there would be no way of being able to get a flight back
I got in a cab at 6pm, and got back to the airport with no hassles for my 7.55pm flight. I arrived back home at 9.30pm and went straight to bed As i was tired from not getting much sleep the night before |

| If you would have smoked a joint, or a fat bong of hash before entering the first cab I think the ride may have been more enjoyable. As for the cabbie, I would have flicked a quarter at him and told him to buy a compass. |

I think you need to watch the rerun of the series Taxi now.
The $20 bill was the right way to handle it. Uh yeah I prefer polite people too. Hmmm he could have made his job more interesting by making nice conversation to the people he transports... Looks like you needed your Penthouse stresstit there.

I heard that London taxi drivers have to do a test before they actually are allowed to drive a taxi. They need to learn the whole city by heart, and drive some tests and need to get on time and on the right route to get from A to B.

Thanks for the lowdown on your trip . I can't wait to see the pictures .
LOL sounds like the taxi drivers in Spain. Good move flicking him a $20, that was probably too generous . I'm glad everything else went smoothly .
For all our freinds abroad: In London, the "Black Cab" taxi drivers have to do a test called "The Knowledge" which can take several years to pass. But of course thats no guarantee you wont be ripped off |
