DHT...where are they from? Not so familiar with lots of dance music. Sometimes I like dance. I always liked Faithless.
I have been listening to a Norwegian band called Pagan's Mind in my car to work. Hmmmm .... and I still only make it to level 3 of hell. |

A local station plays the "unplugged" version regularly, but never seems to be able to actually say who sings it I hate that! Anyway, I didn't find out who actually sang that song until reading this thread and also finding out that there is a dance version to it. It is a little weird listening to the dance version after hearing the unplugged version for so long and of course the early 90's Roxette original.
Any Coldplay fans out there? I've been listening to "X&Y" quite a bit.

What album?
I saw Iron Maiden at Bospop this year. The played only songs from their first 4 albums. I had never heard 'Phantom of the Opera' live.
Was really cool.
Oh last week I got the remix of the Bruce Dickinson album 'The Chemical Wedding'. It's one of the best metal albums ever.
Since it got kinda warm today I switches to Bob Marley to chill out.

Just curious...does anyone here visit live concerts?
If so what was your favourite concert?
Plus the big question is live music better then a studio album? |

maybe metallica, but I’ve been to a lot of other concerts that were great, so it's hard to pick just one

the last 2 concerts i've been to were Green Day and K D Lang.
kd has an awesome presence and voice and did a great show
and green day just blew the fuckin roof of the stadium...i love their music.
btw is anyone watching the reality show to find a new lead singer for INXS?
i hate reality shows like Idol but seeing this was the great aussie band inxs i have been watching.some of the performances have stunk but some have been really good.
i can't pick a winner yet but i like Jordis a lot.
oh and satch i think live is much better. most of my dvd's, cd's and recorded vhs tapes are of live performances. |

I would love to go to a Green Day concert. I have never really been to a concert before unless you can count Tommy Lee, and East 17 |

i'll take you to a green day concert anytime i saw a motley crue concert once a long time ago, but only because my friend had an extra 2nd row center ticket because his date stood him up at the last minute. he gave it to me for free for driving us to the show. it was really cool since i was so close to the stage |

Well, cd that's in the player now is 7th son of a 7th son. Luckily, I bought almost all their cd's at a time when they came out with an extra bonus cd. On those, a lot of live songs. |

This song is bocoming here very popular too. It's on the radio all the time.
Weird how a band from Belgium first has succes in the US and after that Europe.
Oh I really like the song 'Love you more' by the Dutch band Racoon.
Anyone heard that one? |

I am listening to Octavarium by Dream Theatre as recommended by Satch.
I have heard it a few times now and I can't think who they sound like. I can hear Malmsteen in some of the guitar solos. I can hear Metallica and Van Halen sometimes. And a lot of similarities to Pink Floyd.
Good call and thanks Satch !!! . I'll have a listen to Metropolis next |
