Actually, I am glad that Thunderstorm's interview will have to wait. One of the things I like to do is use the BOM pictures as deskop wallpaperr. That is hard to do with text written all over it. Maybe at the end of a given BOM, a page or two could be devoted to the inteview itself? then we can readd about so-and-so liking a good "facial" without having it scrawled across any pinups.

Yeah, some of those text pages would make good wallpaper. But I suspect that whatever program you're using to make wallpaper can also allow you to remove that text if you desire. The exception would be when the text is on top of some detailed background, like a Terragen sky or something.
Meanwhile, I like the text. Stylistically, it's fun. No other 3D art site I've seen does interviews like this. The closest thing is Mr. X and Nightwing with their character files (some of which are in fact quite good). I'd miss the interviews. Besides, they provide background on characters that we wouldn't get otherwise, except through comics, which are necessarily going to take a lot of time.
I'm with you on the "facial" declarations, though. That's little bit too Larry Flynt for me.

I WANT the interview, but I think it might go well by itself. Remember the old Playboy pictorials? They had pages of pics with text in boxes at the base/top/side of the photo. Plus they had the "stats" page with hobbies/likes/dislikes on a separate sheet. That is what I was getting at. And I *do* like the facial reference, I just don't want it across an otherwise good picture ruining its use as wallpaper. No I do not have a program that removes text. I have a beautiful iMac that lets me drop any gif or jpeg onto my desktop as wallpaper. To do what you are suggesting, I would need a paint ot photo program that I do not own, right? |

Yeah, I guess you would.
I still like the text with the image, though. Is there a compromise? Can someone buy Benjamin a paint program? |

I've thought before about putting the text either on separate pages or around the art, as it clutters up a pin-up. I like using some of the more stylized fonts, though, so I may do a few more text pages with Flash. I've got some new ideas for the next feature now, so it should get more interesting!
Some of the "interviews" haven't been my favorite thing to write, and I think we've all seen now that the girls should be more comic characters and less porn stars, so that's the direction we'll go. You guys have given some great feedback, so keep watching!
