| I was thinking about getting the new Apple ipod video. Was curious if you guys knew anything about them? Good or Bad |

If you read the tech specs it looks like the iPod only supports mp4, m4v and mov formats which would mean a lot of converting  |

That is the iPod Nano I think - the screens scratch and crack easily |

Yes i saw that but i still think its really cool, think ill get one. I also hear the battery breaks after a year and there is no way to switch batteries. But i can get a 4 year service plan that costs $100, where they replace my Ipod if anything goes wrong with it, i think ill get that too  |

I don't have one so I cannot advise you .
but to take 4 year service does sound ok 
A Dutch newspaper just "tested " the black thing and they made a movie of it:

I once used had a normal iPod. Dunno it sure wasn't perfect. You pay a lot for the design I think. It could really do what I wanted it to do to replace my mini-disk, since it can't record and just play. 
Plus if you want a good media player you better get a PDA with bluetooth and bluetooth headset. 
There's also a broadcast device for so you create your own radiostation that you can tune into for playing your music in your car. |

i think i'd like to get an mp3 player now too, but i'm not sure which one to get. i'm not sure if i'd ever wanna watch videos on it. i've never had one before |
