| As I am probably the one to blame for you guys needing to rush out a "Spider-Babe", I thought I might throw out my thoughts on our new hero/BotM/eye-candy.
Well, to be honest, I had been expecting something more like the Mary Jane Watson (is it still Watson-Parker, or are they done done?) pinup that triggered her nomination (page 5 of the pinup section), so I was a little disappointed in what I saw at first. Though, considering how much time you probably had to put into your other creations before unveiling, she's definitely not bad. Her costume, though, seems a little generic. But, as I said, you were rushed so I'm guessing we'll see something flashier in her future (considering we've seen Flasher go through, what?, five costumes already, that would be nothing new). However, after going through the casino against her, I'm sold on her. There are a couple pics where, IMHO, her smile looks a bit off, probably because of the angle we're looking at her from, but I think Spider-Babe is a winner.

| This one was definately a challenge for me. The original pinup had painted on hair and painted on webbing details over a 3D figure, so she's not easily reproduced in other poses. What we've ended up with is still a work in progress, so she's an evolving character. The BOM sequence so far is a showcase of the girl, but who she is and what she can do is still a bit of a mystery. If she's well received, she'll pop up again. If not she'll hover in the background until needed.
Once the current comics storyline is wrapped up, I've been chewing on the idea of doing a Franchise-X story for something a bit different. Sticking with the current core group may be a better idea, though. It's still up in the air, so feel free to voice what you'd like to see!

| Well, why not do both? I don't think anything bad can happen with a crossover in the JB universe. | | _________________

| Yeah- Crossover in the JB universe will work..
It'll be like Justice League vs Xmen.
