I've been thing about this recently. Since I'm also a gaming fan, I like fighting games a lot. But I got one thing also.

Will the series have a alternate Fighting Game Spinoff? Like, Type-Moon did it once, making a spinoff of the Visual novel game Tsukihime into a popular fighting game Melty Blood.

But chances in this one are impossible.

Well.... I thought about a fighting game for BonBon....

BUT..... the town of BonBon there aren't really much 'fighting' going on. The girls aren't violent in nature.....

It's potentially possible to have a BonBon adventure game as well... Possibly William exploring the BonBon town....

But I'm not sure if Vanessa will be able to do the animations.... Requires a bit of animation for this game to really be worthy to develop.

It's a huge project....

Anyway, when I think of it, I can imagine Mary using her umbrella as a some sort of sword in my mind. Speaking of which, maybe this can be a MUGEN project. If you don't know MUGEN, it's actually a fighting game engine by Elecbyte.

Well.. We don't need MUGEN...

Since we can code the same thing now in Shockwave. I have the game engine and code... (I wrote it myself!)

Just need artwork.

Even if you used MUGEN, you'd need artwork.

The nice thing about our Shockwave games is that you can play it online anymore. No need to download and install an exe.

Most computers should have Shockwave plugin.

Also- it gives us control over distribution. Bug fixes are done on the fly. So we are certain everybody has the latest update and is playing the same game (version).

Well the idea is good.And the fighters can be the boys,fighting over a girl. Wink

You know,there is potential in this idea.The same thing crossed my mind a while ago.Didnt give it much thought though,just for the same reason-it would not match the story. Curious

So, I was perusing the old threads and came across this one....
Which leads me to my question, are there any games for PBB in the works? As in, one in which William could explore Bon Bon or something like that? I realize that to make it would take a huge amount of time and effort, but since this thread was back in 07, I thought maybe there was something on the back-burner in development?
And as a side note do any of the wonderful forum members work in gaming?

Outside of a highly advertised boxing match, i dont see eny fighting going on in the town of Bon-bon.

they actually made a furry fighting game for the sega genisis but i forget the name i do remeber it was hard it was exlusive to the sega channel (kudos if you remeber the sega channel)

Well, I wasn't thinking so much of a Fighting game, as more a game in general of any genre. Fighting just doesn't appear to be a major contributing factor to Bon Bon's society.

Bimson/Hobart Star does fighting games with sex in them. (Usually more "rough" stuff, but could make appropriate changes for the site.)

I emailed him before. He said he could maybe try something for the site. (Well, not free. It'd be another collab commission just like Zone.) But what would the storyline be?

To be honest I have no idea. None at all. I was just wondering if there was even a game in the works. Again, I wasn't thinking so much of a fighting game as simply A game. you know, of any kind.

and now that I've put like 5 seconds thought into it, I suppose one could merely play the wonderful story-line that Vanessa (If I may call you by your first name?) has put together so far for William. That could be really entertaining.
Otherwise, we'd have to come up with completely new character and go from there.

oh and I'd be down to throw in on a commission.

Zone-tan would be funny. She could be the final boss or the hidden boss.

Also you could ass my character to the list of males. He's basically like a knight with a set armor, sword and shield though it's not seen in the comic (yet unless Vanessa wanted to showcase it in the comic).

wow, there's a fair amount of interest on this idea isn't there?

to be honest, I have no idea as how to proceed.

I suppose if this were to actually go anywhere, we would put together a storyline and then commission it.

Couple problems with that though, first off its entirely Vanessa's creation, her world her rules. So obviously for anything to go through, we would have to check with her. And thats not really a prob, I would just rather leave her alone cause I'm sure she's got more important things to deal with.

And, I've never been great at actually organizing and maintaing a decent sized project, and I feel like this would be just that.

Ideas?

Looking back, I think probably the type that would make the most sense was having William/Wilson be the main character and you had to survive long enough without giving in to "temptation," which Betty would send wave after wave of women; and perhaps some sort of item that turned him into Wilson to resist women because he's suppose to be "gay" but then he has to look out for male patrons at the Delight Castle.

Then all we would really need is some layout backgrounds from Vanessa, and a list of "baddies" that would go after him.

Makes me think the game should be more like those platforming games by Toonpalace. William has to pass each level and avoid all types of ladies and then fight a boss at the end of each level.
