Name: Nosveratu(the name kinda gives away what he is)
Age: 22
Hometown: Japan
Description: Black Bat-like with the tail and the dark blue markings of fox. Being an orpan he doesn't know much about his background. Traveling with a circus as an acrobat in hopes to leave Japans rules and hopefully find somehting about his parents. He later finds out some idea about his mother, she was last seen in a place nickname "Bon Bon". With that much to go on shouldn't be to hard to find her were abouts, should it?
He walks into this strange place with much confusion. Where he was raised, girls were never so wild, and the men so lustful, and to top that...in broad daylight! His became filled with primal instincts, but he he calms down and decides his roots are more important than desire, but how can fight whats in his blood?
I nothice that the story was eastern european, so kinda wanted to create an outsider/crossbreed to bring out his semi clean slate while also tying his to this place. |

Well. It looks like no one bothered to point you in the right direction. Sorry to see that Nosverata. Theres a sticky thread for character descriptions for Vanessa to easily manage and sort through.
By the by, is that supposed to be a type of vampire?

Hmm, vampires (or half-vampires) seem to be very popular in here all of a sudden... I wonder if the lovely Scarlett Blut comics have had anything to do with it.
I just recently realized that the sudden surge in vampiric characters seems to coincide with the disappearance of Shadow, another message board member.... his fursona, Leon, is a kangaroo vampire-hunter.
Curiouser and curiouser... |

Well, we do have a number of characters that could also fit the bill. Crimson and Gantros share much in common with Scarlett. Though, there are also a handful of us mercs that could help Shadow's character.
We may end up with a war in the night it would seem. |

Eheh, darkness is so charming on sometimes, isn't it? *the lizard guy tailwags and smiles* Well, victorian-ish style always welcomes and suggests goth\dark apparel and characters, so such an habit is pretty understandable, eheh. |

technically Scarlett is the only true vampire hybrid. I'm just a vampire bat/flying fox hybrid, and I don't know where Crimson fits in. If we get another bat Royal member, I can just see the next Halloween wallpaper starring us all. |

It was also the name of the vampire in one of the very first vampire movies ever, back in the Celluloid days. Thank you, Boris Karlov. |

That's it, my cold has officially reached critical as it is now affecting the vampirical knowledge portion of my memory. Excuse me, I need to go get some DayQuill. |

don't worry, just about every language or dialect has their own unique spellings for words, and Germanic or Eastern European names and words tend to have alternate "F" and "V" spellings when translated into English (just look at the alternate spellings of the Romanov/Romanoff family name).
Also, don't feel bad, Ashton. I was about to correct you and say that the vampire in Nosferatu was named "Count Olaf", until I realized that's the name of the villain from Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events... I just happened to luck out and realize my mistake when I looked up the spelling of Schreck's last name on IMDb. |

Thank you Johnny and Ashton. That was the spelled version I'm familiar with.
Though Ashton, *takes a seat with a cold compress and some soup* You be sure to take care of yourself. Though Johnny's good with helping us gather information, your still our living encyclopedia. |

::spins a wooden stake on a metal knife shaft while his other hand has his trade mark blade shield raised:: Vampire surge, you say. Well, your not very far off with the fact I hunt vampires, Johnny, but to be a bit more exact, I'm a Dark Hunter, one who hunts anything supernatural that may endanger the lives of the innocent.
I'm still working on Chapter 9 of Path of Darkness, but I assure you vampires are among my normal concerns. Ghosts, having no physical body save a host or object to posses, serve a far greater threat. After all, a vampire can be slain in all manner of ways, with certain breeds requireing something OTHER than a stake to the heart, but a Ghost has no body to harm, and their power is determained by emotion, not blood.
Further more, I'm not the type to see a vampire (Or a half-blood), like Scarlett, and jump right in to kill them. Even a vampire can regret taking a life and wish with everything he has left for redemption. I come from a family who, from the founding family member, have been born, raised and trained to fight everything from the undead, to monsters, to even demons, and how to destroy them.
I'm someone who would rather look for anything left to be redeemed before I have no choice but to kill. Unless you count demons, who enjoy killing just for the hell of it.
::retracts his shield and holsters the stake on a belt loop:: Just mind I've got my eyes open for Bon Bon's sake. I'm here to find peace, but if anything is stired up, namely something the police can't handle, or should even know the truth behind, I'll be prowling the shadows. Hunting the hunter, I belive the saying goes. |
