Just out of curiosity, and seeing how there's a RP set in a different time period than the one PBB is in, I'd like to know what you think your fursona's occupation would be for a RP or story set in the present day. Would it be something relating to your fursona's occupation in Bon Bon, or would it be something completely different?
My own I'm actually not really sure about. I think that there are probably two kinds of singer I can picture Constance as. One is an opera singer, of course. Probably purely an opera singer, who wouldn't be all that known outside the world of opera.
Another is a more mainstream singer. Perhaps something along the lines of Celine Dion. I can definately picture her doing some classy music videos, and if this is her present day occupation, I imagine her doing some modelling work on the side as well. Lipstick, makeup, shampoo. You know, all those things they have famous actresses and singers model for.
Another is a really successful business woman. I can definately picture her as some sexy boss. Complete with jacket and skirt, showing off her long legs in stockigns when walking around the office. |

What would my fursona do for a living in 2009?
Simple: Taking college classes, live in a little apartment by herself, and work at a grocery store as a cashier. :3 |

Jerin would probably be a bounty hunter, or some form of security officer, prefferably one of those guys that drives the armored cars. |

I think Chiisuna would still be a nun... At last I can't think of something else as job for her. |

Easy for me. Not like my profession has warped that much and is still as lucrative, challenging, and rewarding as it is. |

How come you had to give it up? If you can still sketch them up, can't you get an assistant to put it together for you while you draw, sketch, and direct?
As for myself, the store wouldn't be "Jared's," it would be "Mystic's." *Smiles with a display of her jewels* Hopefully it was thanks to the help of one Mr. Blue. |

Symphony,
Somehow, I more see you as either some sort of like R&B musician... or some hard-core punk rocker... like Lita Ford. I dunno why, but I can totally see you in torn-up jeans and black hair.
So... I guess I'd have to do something different, as pretty much every place would sell cigars and cigarettes, and being a mini-shop owner competing with guys like Winston and Phillip-Morris, I'd have to do something different... well... maybe I'd work for like Sam Adams as a brewmaster, or designing better beer yeast or something. Yeah, I know... lame. |

Hm. This is difficult. Probably a bodyguard, or I'll crash with Jerin, and we'll be bounty-hunter buddees. |

Johnny Six-Killer would be in coyote heaven for a very, very long time in 2009, as it would be nearly a century and a half since he was born. Buuuuut, a living decendent of Johnny (Johnny Sixkiller the Fifth?) would likely be an actor who suppliments his income between acting gigs by working as a nightclub DJ, all the while struggling to keep up with his college studies. He would also have no clue about his ancestor whom he shares a name with. |

Johnny Six-Killer (the First) has indeed caught a roadrunner, several times, in the same night. Then again, considering she was the one who locked the two of us in her bedroom that night, I don't think she was trying too hard to run away...
Usually, Roadrunner women are notorious for playing "hard-to-get"... |

Amethyst would surely have the same occupation; Photographer. Though it would be kind of a different job in 2009 then in 1895, technology progress ya know...
Mostly she would take pictures of half-naked men for the women's magazines *holds up a camera* Say cheese! |

Eh?
How you manage to picture Constance as some punk rocker is quite baffling to me. There's not nearly enough sex, drugs and rock'n roll about her. I think I'll stick with a more elegant and classy genre if she'd still be a singer today.
But I can definately picture her wearing some tight jeans and a skimpy little Got Milk? t-shirt.
When she's not at work, of course.

I like this idea. I think that Caroline would make one damn fine brewmaster. |
