i've been going through my old pictures i took in iraq, back home in washington, all my friends and stuff. i realized that there are some memories that are amazing that everyone has, you just have to know where to look. i was looking at a picture i took in high school. it was me, my ex, and some friends. and all of a sudden it was like a flash back to high school to all my favorite times. after i came to, i started to think about things, what are they doing now? should i get in touch with them? do they even remember me? then it starts going a little deeper. what if i had done this instead? what was i thinking when i did this?
what would any of you do in my situation? i've wanted to get in touch with my old friends and ask them if things would have been different. or should i just be happy with where i am right now and put the past behind me? |

i have a time machine in my apartment. it's essentially a cardboard box and on the side i wrote "time machine" in sharpie. |

| maybe. i know that memories are just that, and thats all they will be, but i dont see a problem in wanting to re live those days even if it is for a brief moment |
