Silv, I think he is simply asking for help by means of us having any kind of links that could assisst him in learning without the painstaking hole appearing in his pockets. |

If that is the case, he needs to learn to phrase his questions better. Because the way he said it, it sounds like he's asking for money. |

Violin lessons or teach yourself ones can be found online although most usually need you to "buy" a book or a set of items Cd,Book etc I've got a Violin as well although I play fiddle style. I'll check some links out and post the ones that have what you are looking for if any sometime this week. Violin if you have'nt learned already is a tough style to play properly and will take a long time to master especially at your advanced age it is best started when very young say 5-7 years old as at that age your brain will catch on the fastest and your motor skills will as well. Take heart though one never too old to learn music with anything just be patient with yourself first and foremost. |

it was mostly the cost of renting the violin ....they dindt want to pay the $300 to buy it so they ended up renting it and by the end of the school year they realized it would have been cheeper to buy the damn thing so they told me to take it back
i also tried piano but my fingers are short and stubby not good for piano
the violin is complicated and diffcult even when you think you got it you dont cause the strings require just the right amount of pressure or they sound horrible |

I love the violin. Most beautiful instrument there is. Second, the piano, and third the guitar. |

Dang notta none of my links I was going to post really will get what you are looking for some are broken but each has a little bit of info on it absolutely useless without proper instruction I'll keep looking hopefully I'll find something good like an Interenet correspondant so at least while you practice at home you can save your family's and neighbors ears although you might be making low squeaks atm sooner or later they are gonna get loud. LOL Play On Dorian! |
