| I was wondering what style of Role playing does every one here perfer? I my self perfer slower and more detailed RPs In story form over the light speed and script style RPs. Mostly becuase of my work scedual and the fact that i like to take my time to take in the responces and make a post that i hope that the person reading it would find it worth reading. | | | | |

| I picked slower, longer, because I guess that's the one that applies to the only RP I have participated in. Sometimes I felt that it was moving too slowly, and it was sometimes difficult to write long, detailed posts, but I think that it suits me better than the style of most of the RPs around here. | | _________________

| Even though I usually participate in Fast and short RPs. I voted slower and longer, I prefer to take my time writing out a detailed post. I've been trying to teach my self to slow down some, plus I always try to pre-write my RP posts before my turn is up so I don't make people wait on me, but when everyone is moving so fast everyone still ends up waiting on me.
Its a little upsetting some times knowing that I'm the one slowing everyone else down

 Also

If a thread moves too fast, it will discourage other members from joining the thread, as well as force so members already in the thread to leave when they get left behind.

It is especially painful to watch new members ( members just starting out and new to the PBB forums ) try and join a thread only to be ignored and left in the dust just because they are not that active on the forums
I always hope everyone gets a fair chance to be included. | |

| Okay, two things.
 1) Shouldn't this be in the RP section.

 2) I went with slower, longer. I usually prefer quality over quantity. While there isn't much of anything wrong with a fast-pace, I think a slower one actually caters to more of a variety of members, as it provides opportunity to those that are less active. At first, I preferred the fast ones but that was when I could stay browsing the boards extensively. Now I'm busier and like things to be accommodating and find that some of the excessive creations of other members has turned the RP section from my favorite place to one I'm less inclined to peruse.

| faster, longer i like a good RP that can keep me entertained for a long time. i like them to have a steady pace but i also like a bit of detail. | | _________________

| I put slower, longer, but it depends. If it's going to be a non-real time one like here, that's better. But if it's real time, like on a muck, then I prefer it to be a little faster (getting out 4 poses an hour doesn't really work for me). | | _________________

| Faster Longer, Quick paragraphs that help set the mood and allow you to more accurately portray what your character is going to do in the situation they are currently in. Either that or it allows for detailed Expression of emotion and More in depth character development. | | | | |

| Oh I'm not very picky in terms of RPs. The only exception is probably modern roleplays, pirates, gangs, and vampires. I guess its just not my cup of tea | | _________________
