Is it just me or does everyone who participates in these forums seem so kind, polite and friendly? Most people in other forums flame a lot or troll, so I'm asking everyone this: Is this the most friendly forum you've ever seen or is there another one where the people are kinder?

thats becouse most other forums are full of haters and these forum has a strict no hating policey so if you drink the hateraid this is not the place for you. besides most of the flamers and trolls are little kids or nerdy teenagers who vent there anger online so they dont have any real life consiquences

It could be due to the age demographic here. Most forums I've been on have people from middle school to high school students. And based on my experience, they tend to act somewhat rashly without much thought.

Most of the time, its due to people who enjoy annoying or venting over people via internet because there is no fear of being both judged or reprimanded.
Most of the time, they are little kids or teenagers who throw things out with no reason and think that they can be the greatest thing by doing something that is rather rebellious or out of order, in hopes of getting attention or getting a good laugh.

I find this to be quite friendly. Ronald does a pretty good job taking care of anyone who is hostile towards other users (Other than maybe some light bickering, lol).

Actually- I just let people drop emails and point out the haters for me. And I jump in to read it and moderate it.

I usually just kick the spammers/botters fast myself though.

Its not just Ronald. Just about all the senior members here prefer to keep things civil, to an extent. Does that mean there are never any arguments, teasing, or slapstick? Of coarse there still is. However, problems are solved and we all move on together.

This forum is seen as a community of its own. A set of standards of being civil. Don't feel intimidated by some of the larger words some of the Royal Members use, or for those who don't speak English normally and may have trouble spelling. If you'd like some help, you can always ask, but don't outright swear and flame on people.

Not only will it call Ronald on you, but a few senior members may come down on you too. I for one am not afraid to put someone in their place, but try not to, as that takes away from the gentleman report I try to keep. Mystic will give you a good smacking, though I'm afraid I haven't seen here since one of the last "incidents" involving a new member who was rather rude to a number of people and a few new members creating a bit of drama over roleplaying. *sigh* I do hope she comes back though.
