I'd also like to add that my Family Crest is called "Blysk and Cien" - "The Shine and Shade" and although it looks a lot like a Yin Yang it has nothing to do with it, I'm from center-eastern Europe (Imaginary country near Silask of that time). Also the name refers to the surface of silver rather than "light and darkness". |

okay, again, that sounded a lot funnier to me... being a Yank, I'm not terribly familiar with the whole Parliment thingy, but... it just seemed kinda funny to immagine most of us as an unruly governmental mob, i.e. The House of Commons, instead of the overly stuffy arisotcracy that works in the House of Lords.)) |

Actually I'm not in the House of Lords, I'm not British, I'm Polish. I reinvented a fictional neutral country (didn't name it) since in 1890's Poland was split between Russia, Austria and Prussia (Germany) except for a small piece in the russian part. As a matter of fact, quite a lot of polish troops were in Italy at that time. :3
But that another topic. I have the title 'Duke' for being related to Royal Family (not in direct line the the throne I'm affraid, I'm 3 generations from the main line). I'm not a big fan of politics myself, that's one of the reasons I travel a lot and spend time in Bon Bon. Perhaps I even build a house here for longer stays. |
