Hi there, all. I'm BlueHawk82, the newest member to the board and been a member of Bon Bon for four mounths now, I love this story and website. I'm dropping this forum to say hello to everyone and see who's here. Smile

I've recently gotten into furries, reading books about them and the history as well as beginning to do them in my artwork, I even have my own story planned someday.

So I'm a pilot and machinist, ultimately I like to see myself as an inventor. Though I'm more a fan of equine furries I'd see myself as a fox with a blue coat. I even have a stuffed fox that sits up on my computer screen with me that I've had since I was two days or so old (his name's Dash and he says hello to everyone!). So who's out there and what do you like and what are you? Look forward to hearing from you all.

Yep, a blue male fox and let me explain why. My hopes are to make royal member status in a few more months and get a cameo, but a unique one at that.

My guy is named Sky B. Fox, B for "Blue". He is more than just a tinkerer, he is an accomplished glider champion with Octave Chanute and he's working furiously to achieve powered flight. Wink

He's hoping to not only have first achieved flight over the Wright Brothers in America, but he flies to Bon Bon in an effort to make a charter service to the Delight Castle, even offer aerial frolics in the sky... except every once in a while they come down with a bang, though he always says a good pilot survives every landing, but does make certain girls of Bon Bon a regular visit for treatments Wink

. A sort of spinoff of "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines", for those who have seen it.

How would that sound?

Weeell, I have already introduced a Zeppelin type airship to Bon Bon (please check out the story New Beginings) also Ms vanessa is very studious regarding the time line.
While airships existed at this time I am actually twisting the rules a little bit now with several "Inventions" such as 'Buggerit ' (A form of Cavorite) that appear in Sci-fi novels of the era, such as First Men on the Moon by H.G. Wells and Conqueror of the World by Jules Vern. And so Ms Vannessa has quite rightly quashed any suggestion of developing an aerodrome in or near Bon Bon. Sorry. )

Of course Octave Chanute and gliders were there at that time period, could always have just gotten blown in by accident getting caught in a thunderstorm.

Of course if the timeline ever got to 1905 they were common then, I could just imagine the first "Mile High Club" taking place in Bon Bon of all places, like the birth of the "First Hardcore Movie" (Ref. Chap 2). If anywhere it seams like it could happen, Bon Bon would be it.

Incidentally, what do the different rankings mean? I'm a TOTAL NOOB, what does VETERNA, ROYAL MEMBER, SUPER VETERAN stand for?

Rankings are based on your post count. Untill you get a custom avatar made by Vanessa, then it switches to Royal Member of Bon Bon.

Out of curiosity, I already have my ideas for the ladies Sky would be interested in if he landed in Bon Bon. Do you have to ask before permission of the fursonas before you have your character attach to someone's character?

Then I'll be sure and work on my character's story and try to post it sometime soon in the fursona section. Should be entertaining, and I will respect the timeline and Sky will not have achieved powered flight yet. Of course he does succeed with small models and tries rockets on occassions with his glider to loony toonish consequences.

And you're welcome, Ms. Constance. Imagine Sky just sent a spring bouqeut to your dressing room. And could i include your fursona in my character's line as perhaps a confidant or good friend during his stay in Bon Bon, maybe something more later? Since you've replied to my forum I formally ask you. Smile

Update: And given what I've read about your fursona on your page, she'd be perfect given what you'll find out in Sky's history. As I said, I like equines and I am a true carniseur of Opera.

I don't mind you making Constance be a friend of your fursona. I imagine her having connections in all sorts of places and among all kinds of people. Mostly due to her fame as an opera singer and her travels around the world, but also because she's a very friendly person who likes to meet other people and make new friends.

I will then. Actually, what I read about your character, he might fit your fursona's interest too. I was also wondering if his story crash could begin by crashing in Ms. Constance's yard? Would that be too much? Perhaps a moment of fate that they met and became friends in such a way?

And yes, the poor guy is a virgin, some fondling and stuff like that has occurred but the poor guy never got to home base.
