I checked all the ‘adult’ related games on the iphone apple store and they’re all gone. No Strip Poker games. No nothing. Every adult like apps with photos have been removed.

Personally I'm very pissed off at Apple for making such a horrible decision.

Thats way i have a verizon Droid they alow all of it. apple is afraid it might tarnish its wholesome image.

Apple is already too busy dealing with hacked apps and Ipod/phones.

I don't have an apple other than my IPOD, but damn, our country is getting more prudish. Its like Adam and Eve when they bit from the forbidden fruit. The more they became aware, the more they began to hide themselves. Its the same concept that Apple is pulling right now.

Damn, if it wasnt for the fact that i already have a few movies and a few gigs of music on my ipod touch i would have sold it already in protest.

Seriously. Walmart went and did a similar ban years ago... and people protested and said they'd never shop their again. And yet, Walmart is still one of the largest retail chains around.

Microsoft went and released L4D2 as a whole new game, instead of DLC. People protested and swore that they'd never support Microsoft again. And yet, L4D2 sales have been way better than L4D were.

What would be the difference if someone put up a sign that said, "Coat and Tie required to eat here." There isn't any.

And with the gazillion different ways to get cheap, naked, thrills, if Apple wants it's phone-computer to be more family-oriented let them.

In fact, you know who's really being balsy? Microsoft. They've imported and translated a semi-racy jRPG called..... well, great. Now I can't find it. But the point being, Microsoft is importing jRPGs for the Xbox that actually have softcore adult scenes in them.

We're all adults here, so it is easy to assume the adult perspective that we should be entitled to content that we are mature enough to view. The idea, however, may be to limit the likelihood of certain items being viewable by the [word censored] community. I could only imagine the number of parents angry at finding what their kids have on their iPhone forming a frivolous class action suit against Apple because the company wasn't doing enough to keep such materials out of their kids' hands. This is America, the home of sheister lawyers out to make a buck, even on the most ridiculous cases (McDonald's coffee anyone?).
