I'm not good at these personal threads. I tend to avoid them, but today I'm going to start my own.

The sad news is that I'm not going to renew my PBB membership. My financial situation has taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of months. I've tried to cut down on my other expenses, but it simply hasn't been enough. I can't afford PBB any longer. That really sucks.

I hope to get it all worked out soon. Perhaps I'll be able to renew my membership in a couple of months, but that's probably a too optimistic estimate. Realistically, I'm looking at six months or more, before I can afford the membership fee once again.

I don't know what this means for my participation in this forum. I think that I'll visit once in a while, but once my membership expires (which it does next week), it'll probably be a lot less fun for me to come by and see what's going on here, as being able to talk about the comic and Vanessa's work has always been among my favorite activities here. It might just be a quick visit once in a while, to see if anyone has posted anything in one of my threads, or something that I can't resist replying to. Most likely I'll just be lurking quietly.

So this isn't quite a "goodbye". I don't really know what it actually is. It's definately not a "hello". Perhaps it's just a "see you around some day".

I'm so sorry to hear that Symphony. I hope things get better for you and you stop by the forum more than you say that you will. You will be missed.

I know how you feel when is a little tiresome if you just come to the forum without seeing the PBB site, but I hope we see you sometime. :3

It saddens me to hear such sorrowful news, Symphony. You've always been one of the more vibrant people here. But, having been in that situation several times myself, I understand how frustrating it can be. But always remember, your friends here will always be waiting for you. Even if it's just to stop by once in a while and talk about nothing in particular. Smile

I'm actually still a member, because it seems that my subscription renewed earlier than I had expected, so I'll have to wait a little longer before my membership expires.

and due to some recent events, the future is lookign a lot brighter for me. I still don't know when I'll be able to renew my subsription, but it might be sooner than I thought. Smile
