My avatar was an academic who was cast out by the dogma of unnamed European universities for researching the role of sexual pleasure scientifically. Since this was the Victorian era, this kind of research would be taboo and at the least discouraged, so my avatar traveled to BonBon, where he may have gotten more than he bargained for. The film making is a hobby and a good way to interview potential test subjects. The occultist persona is just for theatrics. |

i do know of some research that was done by three universities in the 18th century: Cambridge, oxford and the university of Edinburgh did some research on the purpose of the knob, Cambridge determined that it was to enhance the mans pleasure, oxford decided it was to enhance the woman's pleasure and the university of Edinburgh discovered it was to keep the mans hand from slipping off the top |

I'm actually not sure where many of the fursonas are from. I don't know whether everyone have detailed it when making their fursona description, so I might have to take a look through some threads.
Constance is British. I did consider making her French, because I thought it might fit her elegant and seductive ways, but I decided on British because of the language. It's kind of silly actually. I just prefer the English way of pronouncing Constance over the French way, and Mayflower is English too, so it just didn't seem right to make her French. |

My origin, as well as Labrn's, has been kept rather hush hush, but accents and customs would try to pinpoint us somewhere to the south and east. Perhaps along similar lines as Sahtori. |

Those of in the know are aware of your status with S.P.A.C.E., Mystic. |

Bah. I think they're French and just try to pretend to have more Slavic trappings. I would too if I were French.
I have the good fortune from God to German, however, so it is unnecessary. Bavarian, to be precise. My little persona on here is, anyway. Another Yank if you want to be more personal, but at this time of history, my family was in Germany, so I think it is still fitting. |

No, no. Nothing like that Gantros, though you're close to the reason why we keep it rather hush.
Since Labrn and Mystic's backgrounds are from a future fantasy/sci-fi time, we just made our background for Bon Bon more mysterious. I think if anything, we're considered somewhere middle eastern, or maybe even indian with the gems we wear on our foreheads, but also taking a liking to Egypt. I'm not sure where historically we can be from, so we just keep it vague for the purpose of focusing on the now instead of the then. |

Really? That far off? I don't know why, but I get a more... Eastern Europe/Balkans feeling from you and Labrn, Mystic. Probably because of the clothing. I have the feeling it wouldn't be too far off for the nobility of the Carpathians, Bulgaria, Moldovia, Serbia, etc. |

Well, we traveled a bit before ending up in Bon Bon. We are both ones to keep what we like. Not only that, but as keeping our home of origin rather discreet, it would be possible that we picked up a few things from other cultures to help mask our origin. |
