hard to not let out bon bon stuff in other places i mean...

people who pays to see these comics, can be the ones that... duh. uploading them anywhere else... like pirateing movies and music.

so what yeah gonna do? raise the price up on new comics and art stuff?

just saying anything good or "popular" will leak out sooner or later.

so it's hard to continue a good series when... it gonna leak out free or payed off alittle.

donations... could be a good idea a cheap donation fee... i mean we don't want Bon Bon close down because some cheap @$$ giving all the comics away.

DO NO SUCH THING!!! If you start putting links to sites that advertise Vanessa's stolen work, everyone and their brother could and will come to these forums and click that link. So under NO circumstances are any of you to post links here to those sites.

Unfortunetly,these "rip off" art sites are based in countries with little or no copyright protection laws so it's next to impossible to get the art removed. Sad

Labrn was just talking to me that he had 2 others on FA who found Vanessa's works being distributed. He's looking into a lead about how to get sites to stop sharing her works, permanently!

The only problem I see with this is that this is a bit of a double edge sword. It's good to stop this, but the more aggressive it gets, the more the community as a whole views us as a bunch of hard-asses. Just look at Freehaven's site and what they write about the site and its fans. Meanwhile, CS is treated as a hero with their unusual PR move.

Well there is no complete way to keep our comics off the site. Still, I don't think its such a bad idea to keep a strict policy.

Its hard to get the comics from being distributed for free. Cause you guys are the good ones that pay for amazing work thats worked hard on.

Unlike the cheap b*stards to share this stuff which is alot cause I know bout... 4 shareware sites that post it.

This is utter bull@#$%. Its not so hard to pay for this place and enjoy the boards as well. I mean, the custom avi's are a good reward too.

Yes, the best thing to do is send me an email and the links.

I've been reading and following up on all the pirated links you guys have sent me.

We're working our best to get some of these stolen content removed.

I'll gather up the information I was given by an old member on here about making it onto the "No post" lists so you don't have to keep chasing down these sites Ronald.
