Hey all,
With the coming of the fall harvest festival, what sorts of foods do you all enjoy for the feast?
Me?
Homemade cranberries and sweet-potatoe casarole are two of my favorites. |

My sister's squash soup. Normally I don't eat squash, but I can eat the stuffing (bad pun, I know) out of her soup, even if it's vegetarian. If you like I'd be happy to get the recipe for you. |

Me its pumpkin pie on my mother's crust. She makes the best kind, its nice and soft, but hold together so well, i can just pick up a slice and eat it like pizza. |

For me its Cornbread and fresh picked cranberries. Something about the old standby just makes it perfect. Could it be the corny flavour? The amazing texture? Well I say that it is a mix of everything that makes it such a wonderful thanksgiving food. |

I believe this will help you out: Thanksgiving Wikipedia Page
As for me, my favorite food is baked beans, stuffing and turkey. Can't beat the classics! |

Irish Creme Cheesecake. With chocolate chip cookie crust. I make it myself, and there's never any left to take home with me.
That, and the turkey. My uncle is one of the best cooks around, so of course he does the turkey every year. |

My favorite dish may be one that I never get to try again. My grandfather's German corn. I was one of a few family members that was awarded certification. Yes, we certified people to be able to make it. Anyways, I can make the dish well, the problem is the recipe. I don't recall one ever being written up and my memory isn't that good. I really hope I can get the recipe so I can one day make it again. |

Ha ha hah! XD I didn't fully scroll down, so I didn't see the line about the Homemade cranberries, so I read that as "What sort of food do you all enjoy for a feast? Me?
Oh my Caroline, forgive me, but that's just amusing. I can just see you trying to look "tasty" wearing nothing but assorted food and whip cream items. ;P |

I prefer baked over fried. No offense, but I'd rather keep my house than have it blown up by a fryer. |
