Wow, I don't usually do this, but I had to comment on this one.
Vanessa, I don't know what or how you did, but I do believe (at least in my opinion) that that is the sexiest Mary has ever looked. Perhaps its the lip lick, perhaps its how her colours go so well with the white and black ensemble, I dont know. All I know is I turned into this for a moment!
All I want to say is WOW, that cover is fantastic and I'm excited to see the pin-up! Excellent piece! |

Thank you so much Wallstreet! I belive that is is one of my best artwork cuz I put all my effort to invent the costumes and the coloring. You will see a big X Ray surprise soon and a pinup, with a new background.
Don't you think Betty is really nice with black hair style ? |

What a wonderful Thanksgiving picture you made, Ms. Vanessa. ^w^
Personally, My favorite costume is Violet's turkey costume. I love the color on the costume and her silver hair looks very good with her costume.
I also love Betty's costume; especially the necklace she's wearing. X3
The first thing that came to my mind of Betty's black wig, is the image of Pocahontas. And she does looks very beautiful in a Native American's costume. ^w^
Keep up the good work, Ms. Vanessa! |

Definatly one of your more inventive pieces, Ms. Santato. Though, I can't understand why Violet looks so nervous. I seem to recall her mentioning not minding be stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey once before. |

I agree with you Vanessa. I enjoy Betty's look with dark hair. *Chuckles and nudges Jesse.* Heck, I'd even hit that. |

On a related note, I'm a little surprised at the focus on American holidays when it comes to seasonal festivities. I was hoping we'd see something of how things are done in Europe and perhaps a holiday or two unique to the area around Bon Bon some day. Think that would be possible, Vanessa? You would know far more than I. |

Probably due to the primary audience is from the US, but some European holiday themes would be interesting. |

I like the Day of the Dead, but it's technically not European either. While I honestly believe that Day of the Dead is probably one of the best holidays ever, but it would be hard to implement. It's not the same as Halloween where you dress up and exploit candy from strangers. Day of the Dead is more about honoring and remembering lost friends and family by doing happy things, like building a whimsical altar, or cleaning/decorating their graves. There are some people that equate the two events as the same, but traditionally they are very different.
Getting back to the Thanksgiving cover, the talk of "stuffing" and "turkey basters" made me wonder just what I was going to see in the x-ray images. But Vanessa kept it nice and I guess my imagination runs a little too wild sometimes. |
