| A Custom Avatar is the picture of your fursona Vanessa draws for you after 6 months of being a Royal Member. Look in the Four Aces Suite section of the main site to see all of the Royal Avatars that have been drawn so far. And yes, that is the picture that appears next to our names here on the forums. |

well, if i could i'd add my own image but it seems i can't do that so i guess i'll just have to settle for my name alone. |

After six months you qualify for an avatar if you're active in the forums. You'll still have to wait, though, as there will be other people who also qualify but who haven't recieved an avatar yet. Ronald mentioned it here:

I believe that getting a cameo in the comic depends a lot on your fursona and how active you are. That's the impression I have from posts by Vanessa. Vanessa regularly has avatars of members appear in the background, and at the ball a lot of them appeared more prominently. For example, the occupation might have a lot to do with whether or not a fursona appears. If it's one Vanessa can use for something in the story, then she migth do just that. I don't think she draws any weapons on the avatars appearing in cameos, aside from that scene at the ball where several gueats had to give their weapons to Sakura. I'm not quite sure if some have appeared carrying weapons before, though.
Usually people will have to get the avatar drawn before appearing in a cameo, but a recent example is Miss Scorpia who recieved her first appearance in the comic before the actual avatar. Some are probably easier for Vanessa to include without changing anything in the story, so there'll most likely be some who appear more than others. |

| fortunately i have no active interest in being in the comic, as for my avatar, like i said, i got my own that i wish to use but can't upload it; so it's anyone's guess how that ends. |

I believe you can submit the avatar you want to use in teh forum to Ronald and he can put it up for you. That's what Labrn did at first, as he had his own avatar already.
The avatar people are talking about is also a Pin-up. If you've ever looked in the 4-Aces room, those are the avatars she makes. You then have the option after 6 months to either receive a cameo, or another pin-up of your character in a sex scene or something along those lines. |

I just find it so odd to see members who aren't Loyal/Royal members yet, and their post numbers are high or higher than Loyal/Royal members.  |
