I'm re-opening the shop, but once again, I have ground rules.

While I would like to institute a posting order, I don't think I will. However, I will ask that you post no more than two times if there is someone in the RP that has not posted their part. It's always nice to come back into an RP and only have to read a handful of posts to get caught up.

The only exception to that rule, will of course be on my behalf as needed to attend to any customers.

Despite his past, Samuel has quite a distaste for violence and any that erupts in his store will result in a not-so-pleasant removal of said guilty parties. There will of course be fees for any and all damaged merchandise if a fight were to break out, which usually end up a lot higher than the regular price.

Now, if anyone has problems adhering to this, a posting order will be instituted and the RP will become closed to only the approved members.

I'm not trying to be mean or unreasonable, but I believe good RPs are ones in which participants give a certain level of respect to one another. After all, what good is an RP without the people? So I will ask that you show enough manners to the others, not necessarily in-game, but at least in posting behavior.

I suppose I should clear that up. I guess I almost forgot that this is a shop in which customers will come and go. The rule of waiting would more or less apply to people with characters in the shop at the time.

Yes, as much as I like to show respect, it's still important to allow for a smooth business flow. If Max joins, then you would only be allowed to make two posts before waiting for him to post again. But as we currently have only one customer in the shop, it would be more rude of me to make you wait for someone who isn't even there. If that makes sense.

There isn't really a specific posting order. Just keep from posting excessively if someone else in the shop hasn't posted in awhile.

The RP is shop-oriented, so aside from Samuel, I don't expect anyone to be there permanently. It also helps for people who don't rp often to come and go quickly without a long-term commitment to staying with the rp any longer than they choose.

Lancelot and grllover23, the little back-and-forth scenarios are more or less what I am trying to avoid. I'm not going to be too harsh on it, as you did your best to keep it short. But I've seen a few RPs fall apart because two people start posting back and forth until there's 2 pages for one conversation and everyone else just stops posting because they can't keep up or get fed up.
