A pub right across the street? The delight castle across the square? That is perfect! Great job Loretta. |

Damn right, Corran. Best spots in town.
Excellent job, Loretta, seeing Bon Bon in a visual sense is really cool. |

I always thought that Bon Bon laid between two different high elevation land masses. Meh, guess it was'nt really a valley at all. |

There was a "general market" shown in the comic. There's also general housing, for the basic "townsfolk" besides just the members of the site. |

Is there a better location for the general market than where I placed it?
And that general housing is a good idea. Hmmm.....any recommendations where I should put it? Perhaps just a general tossabout around the town.....

Id just like too toss in my two cents. Seeing as ill be getting a avatar soon, I was wondering if you could add my winery. Near the outskirts of town if possible. Seems the most logical place for it. |

Just letting y'all know that there's an updated may right up above me.
Also to let y'all know I'm not dead and am still working
I just wanted y'all to see the (semi) open meadows are just about done, just gotta get it to hug the contours of the town and forest a bit closer.
Also wanted to ask for a checkup to see that everyone's happy with the locations and sizes of their homes. I"ll be going through and getting more details on the buildings after I get the landscaping just right.
On that note, anyone know how I can make the forest more....foresty? I like the meadow and think it came out well, but I don't see it working as well with the the forest

Phew, that is pretty detailed. Maybe you should be Bon Bon's geographer. |

That's an impressive map you've made here. If you don't mind, can you add my bookstore across from Fran's Finest? The name of the establishment is called "The Gilded Pen". |

It's a great map. It gives a better idea how all is place. Could you had the pawnshop of my character please? It's a large building inside the town.I don't know where exactly but I would be pleased that it be not too far of the delight castle. The persons that gambled all their money need to be able to see where they could trade their last possessions for some liquid assets.
Merci d'avance.

I looked again to the map and noticed a little something. You should put some mountain at the far south of the map (or the bottom, I'm not sure if the up of the map point the north). The town seems to be in a valley if we look well at the landscape's pictures that there are in the deviantart account. There are also a marketplace in the townso a open place large enough to make a lot of temporary stalls. Maybe you should enlarge the town on the other size of the railroad, if we considerate the size of the buildings (looks at the panel three in the page ten of the samples.) the town is rather big. Furthermore, I think that there are a church in the town. I seen few pictures we can see a church tower (or at least what look like a church tower.).
J'espère que mes conseils ne sont pas de trop.

I don't mind waiting ... I'd like to request Avrie's clinic to be located next to "23" right between the post office and Kyles. His manor house would be on the river ... ? Northwest of James base of operations ?
Oh and of course ... thanks in advance |

Hi Grllover, Nice to meet you (in advance)
I noticed Gipsy Sibilla Noire's herbalist shop isn't on the map. I'm wondering if you plan on including the residences and businesses that have appeared in the comics as well as the royal members in your final map?
BTW ... Great job on the map so far! ... and I'll try to answer an earlier question ...
If you're doing this by hand, the easiest way to add a texture to the forest would be to copy the outline of the area on tracing paper; then flip the sheet over and do a rubbing of the chosen texture on the tracing paper in a contrasting color. Flip the sheet back over and rub the texture onto the forest area before you scan it in. I find that coarse burlap works pretty well (I may be a terrible artist but I know all the best old tricks)
PS... Remember to blow the graphite dust off the map before you scan it again ... I learned just how long it takes to clean the darn things the hard way |
