just got back from the hospital, and found out something really important.
as i posted earlier i had the swine flu (i still do but im feeling much better, up and around or rather was) and the army being what it was desided to put me on bed rest.
they then gave me medication, including a nose swab which i was suppost to do every day.
so far so good, but i wasnt getting any better, infact i got worse to the point where i was rushed to the er with a 104.4F fever. i was iced and they brought it down, and when the bood tests came back an interesting thing was discovered, the fever was due to an allergic reaction.
i have always known i was allergic to shellfish, but was never allergic to iodine which is the common pair as shellfish carry that chemical in thier bodies. so pondering this, a young military medic tested me for mecury posioning and sure enough i tested positive. the nose swabs have trace amounts of mecury in the chemical, as do all shellfish (small number like .008 or something). a little bit wont effect me but i was swabbing twice a day for a two weeks. from what the doctor said, my body cant processes it like normal and so it built up enough to cause an allergic reaction.
im fine now, and the flu is all but gone, just coughing up whats left of it. they gave me some anti-histimine and some salty tasting horse pills for the mecury.
im having a most wonderful christmas so far lol! but i made promises and i will do my best to keep to em. just wanted to explain my absences and thought it would make an amusing story for you all. |

Some of them do. They're just to greedy, or don't wanna do anything in the first place.
|
Random stuff I keep seeing in newspapers add lazy to that. |

And people give me a hard time for having such a low opinion of doctors. Medical doctors, that is. |

Frankly, i just hope i don't turn out like that.......
((Planing to be a surgeon!))

surgeons are diifrent from docters they actually have to do a good job or the patient dies and its there fault docters just pull rabbits out there ass and call it good
|
I know that much, but most of the time, when surgeons aren't on doing anything 'surgical', they're put on clinic duty.
Basically, it means that they become Doctors for the whole day.....
It also means getting annoyed by people who tend to freak out, thinking they have a deadly illness when all they have is a mild cold.......... |

Ouch, sounds like my dad, and possibly myself later on if I ever get exposed. |

which is why i prefer to work on animals, instead of humans.
less risk of getting sued, and fewer patients faking it just to get on meds, or get out of something. |
