I'm not usually a person that remembers my dreams. So having a vividly detailed dream at all and remembering it by itself is an interesting event. But I wouldn't post it here unless I had good cause...and I do.

I couldn't even begin to make too much sense as to why there would be a vividly detailed dream of an affair that would come to me. Especially since my 2 year anniversary is now less than a month away. What's stranger still would be who I was having the affair with, Miss Scorpia.

For one, I haven't even been as active here as I have been, so how PBB got into my dreams...well I guess I don't really know. Then there's the questioning as to why Scorpia? I know that our fursonas have a business relationship, perhaps a friendship, but nothing to suggest an affair. What's more is that it wasn't even a tryst with the blue vixen, but rather the actual person.

I don't really care what anyone says about it, but it really got to me. I'm posting here to get it off my chest because I would feel really weird trying to explain it to my wife. Sure, there wasn't any actual infidelity, but I'm not the kind of person to take that kind of thing lightly.

Heay, dreams can be some weird things. You never know what might show up in them, but just remember that it could have been worse, it can always get worse.

Most of the dreams I have had these days have been about me chasing after someone. Mostly a lady, one that I really felt infatuated with during early days!

My dreams........... I can't recall having any. I usually have my mind void with blackness till I wake up.

Doesn't it suck when you're having a good dream and you wake in the middle of it!
When I was a kid that use to happen a lot!

Do dreams have some sort of method or can we choose what we dream?

That is a question I have always tried to answer and so far I haven't found the answer. Its weird though, sometimes when you are dreaming you do things inside your dream at will but you don't realize you're dreaming. Maybe they're just random, who knows.

Well dreams are affected by 2 major things.
1: Fully conscious mind
2: Subconsciousness
When sees, hears (or in this case, reads) the mind gets full of a vivd imagination and tries to experience through itself by either thinking about or dreaming.
The imagination runs wild and anything is subject to either past experiences or new suggestions.
The subconsciousness helps here because it retains past thought and if it is one that interested you heavily, then it's kept in the back of you're head until certain conditions are met. No one knows what these conditions are but when achived, anything is possible in a dream, no matter how real it is.

Wow, I didn't know that!
That must explain why when some people watch a scary movie they have a nightmare about it when they go to sleep. The images must have been kept in the mind and then remembered while sleeping, correct me if I'm wrong. Smile

Half correct and half wrong.
When people go see a scary movie and it actually scares them, then one of the keys here that react with the subconsciousness is the emotional fear and possible mental trauma that one is looking at.
This affects the subconsciousness by creating multiple questions as to why is happening, what if it happened to me, etc. and so forth.
I think i went in a circle.

Simple meaning: You're mind is reacting to a set of you're emotions that make you feel and enjoy almost anything. This in turn is so strong that it affects you're thinking, even when asleep.

i had a dream i was in resident evil. but there was soooo much peanut butter involved. i wont get into details because i dont think anyone wants to hear about what i did to ashley in my dream.

my point is, i hadn't played that game in a few years. what i think is the cause of your dream, is maybe your memory is starting to cycle through some things. but maybe if your not really thinking about it, then maybe that dream is your brains way of cycling through your memories. from what i do know is that if you think about something, then a certain memory could click in your brain without you even knowing it.

but, i'm no brain doctor so dont hate on me if it's no right. i'm a mechanic. if you put a diesel motor in the brain then i could tell you exactly whats going on. but no motor

Controlling what kind of dream you have has a method, and it has been proven and tested. that's what a Lucid dream is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream

It's all about once you are dreaming, you REALIZE you're dreaming, then you can *Sciency words I didn't read the whole wiki* and pretty much dream about whatever you want and it will seem real...

I don't know though, when I'm dreaming I usually wake as soon as I realize that I'm dreaming. This sometimes can be quite a bother since sometimes I have really good dreams!

I had a good-oh dream last night, I was walking around a big Mansion full of French maids & I had no Trousers or underwear on, but I did have socks.

Awesome AND comical, then I woke up before anything... interesting happened.

*Sigh*

That sounds like a dream I had once, but in my dream I didn't really pay attention to what I was wearing. I only remember chasing after this beatiful lady and all of the sudden I woke up!

Good dreams never last do they! Wink
